I got no sleep all night, there were 100's of birds perched directly out my window that were squawking all night. At one point I even tried to spray my deodorant out the window hoping they would fly away! I got no sleep at all. There were also dodgy guys pacing up and down the hall way all night. I didn't feel safe to leave my room. The shower floods the entire bathroom floor so dont expect to go toilet after your shower and not get wet feet. My colleague I travelled with even had to change rooms as she was put in a room that was filthy and had not been cleaned. Dont do it! Its not worth the money saved...

Cleanliness not great. The smell of vomit in the corridor leading to my room was overwhelming. Rust in the bathroom. Dust behind the door in my room. There should be Accor points for this stay. It was booked in the Accor app.

After an 8 hour drive down to the Central Coast to see family, we chose Ibis Gosford to stay overnight, to rest, refresh and get ready for the weekend. The staff member at the front desk was great, and walking in to the hotel everything was clean, neat and tidy. We entered our room, all neat and tidy, then as soon a we opened the bathroom door an overwhelming stench filled the air. The bathroom was clean, but this smell was strange, it didn’t quite smell like sewage, nor a cleaning product, it smelt like someone may have been sick in the bathroom and whatever cleaning products used has not got rid of this smell. Unfortunately, we were put off by this smell and had to keep the bathroom door shut for our stay, and I was really looking forward to having a shower to refresh but it smelt extremely overwhelming and if someone had been sick we were put off staying in the room altogether. I did look at options locally but I was just too tired so we went out and came back later to sleep and leave the next morning. The staff member at the front desk came and sprayed an air freshener, but this overwhelming stench didn’t go away. It’s a shame, because other that that, the facilities and the hotel itself looked great, just put a big dampener on our stay.
