We always stay at IBIS Gosford. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Room always clean, tidy and comfortable. Great location for dining options. We feel very safe staying at IBIS Gosford.

The hotel is very basic and I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the room over all. Teacups were dirty and the bathroom needs an urgent update. The white silicone in the bathroom tiles were dark yellow / brown with dirt and there was dust everywhere and a hole in the ceiling above the shower? My colleagues sheets in the different room had blood on them! Bathroom floods everytime you have a shower and the tap is set to give you zero flow on warm water so could only wash my hands in cold water. Birds outside the window making loud noises that had built nests in the aircon haha so fresh and there was someone in the staircase at 7pm smoking weed almost every night. To say travelling as a single female woman in my late twenties here made me feel uneasy and not safe at all is to say the least. Biggest shout out ever to the loveliest receptionist that was working there I believe her name was Melissa long brown hair she was so lovely and had the best customer service, kept checking in, all staff was incredible but I feel bad for them having to represent such a bad maintained hotel. I get it’s cheap but honestly the standard is not ok.

Upon inspection of the room we were unable to locate the hole in the bathroom. The vanity hot water does seem to be running effectively.
