Friendly sincere, obliging and flexible staff at reception, bar and in restaurant. Gloria was a standout. Food quality could be improved, especially the Vegetable curry- lumpy rice and cheap vegetables I felt.The restaurant manager was also a great guy.

A resort with beautiful surroundings made up with a well maintained golf course with waterways. The hotel is clean and well maintained, the staff are friendly, the breakfast good, and the surroundings are ideal for connecting with nature and waking up to the sound of birds welcoming the dawn. A very good get away from the noise and hustle of city life.

A brief one night stay for a belated birthday but was most enjoyable. Staff were extremely friendly and pleasant to engage with. Would definitely stay there again. We didn’t use the golf course as my husband is not able to play anymore but so enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching, while I enjoyed a swim. My only complaint, though a small one, is the pillows. A soft one is needed as well as the ones provided. I had a very bad nights sleep.

There were a big group of us and it was a good place for all of us to have our own apartment but yet being able to spend time together enjoying the different activities .

Not a relaxing stay

The air con was so loud, I could bearly hear the television and certainly couldn't sleep with it on. I was told they were very old and that was to be expected. I was given the key to another room to check if it was quieter, and found that it was continually dripping water onto the carpet. The Wi-Fi consistently dropped in and out, leaving it extremely difficult for me to work. I give up and ended up using mt phone to hotspot. At 7.30pm I ordered chicken and chips, by 8.45pm it still hadn't arrived. When I called again, I was told they'd forgotten, would bring it immediately and I understood at no charge. I got my meal at 9pm. When I went to check out the next morning, not only was I charged for the 2nd time I had to order my meal, but also the 1st order, that never arrived. Needless to say that topped of an unpleasant experience at this hotel. I wouldn't recommend.

Hi Simon, I received this email requesting feedback on our recent stay at Kooindah Waters resort, well here it is. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday with our 2 children and myself, this included a variety of surprises including a visit to your Spa at Magenta Waters which included a High Tea experience, the apartment was great, dinner at the restaurant on our first night was very nice, our waiter Lachlan was exceptional however and unfortunately this is where it all ended. I had arranged for a bunch of flowers to be delivered to the hotel on the Saturday as my wife’s birthday fell on the Sunday, Valentines Day - it is extremely difficult to have a birthday on Valentines Day let alone arrange something which is not Valentines Day related. I had arranged with both Lachlan and the reception to have the flowers placed on our reserved breakfast table on Sunday morning, the flowers were being delivered on the Saturday,they all assured and reassured me that this would not be a problem. The reception staff also identified that they would leave a note so as the staff working on Saturday knew what to do when the flowers arrived on Saturday. On returning to the room after a day out with the family, including the massage and High Tea, on the Saturday, and to my surprise and complete disappointment, I find a bunch of flowers sitting in our sink ruining and spoiling the surprise of having a birthday breakfast with the family which included a nice bunch of flowers with a relevant birthday card attached to the flowers. It was our children who had come up with the idea of the flowers which we thought your staff could accommodate, unfortunately this was not the case needless to say both our children were shattered and had their plans ruined. We had a great experience at your resort however the long lasting memory will be one of disappointment due to this particular stuff up.

Lack of facility in room

We were initially given a room that was a studio, I was very happy, kitchenette with fridge, sink, microwave, and kettle - perfect, but we had booked a disabled room and the shower was over the bath. Phone call to the desk, room change to a 1 bedroom, no disabled facility but a separate shower. No kitchenette, fridge & kettle, mugs were hidden at the back of a very deep drawer, on a bar. My 92 year old mother had difficulty showering as she was scared she would fall. We ordered a pizza from the restaurant, it arrived very hot, excellent, the crust was really nice & the BBQ sauce was yum, and that is all I can recommend regarding the food, the cheese was too thick (from a cheese lover), the salami tasted strange, the rest of the toppings were not distributed around the pie evenly. Very disappointed as I could live on pizza!!

Stayed for 5 days in a 1br apartment. Overall it was relaxing & peaceful. Room service food was very good & reasonably priced. Dinner in the restaurant was over priced for what you got. Breakfast was reasonable with large servings. We enjoyed the pool although there isn’t much shade. (Umbrellas would help).

Room smelt like someone had been chain smoking before I got there. Food was terrible to the point I didn’t eat one slice of a $19 pizza.

We had a traumatic experience with our home burning and when we got to the apartment it felt just like home which helped my children settle in alot more . My 17yr old now has a new hobby in playing golf and the little ones loved watching the wildlife outside the apartment. Thankyou so much we really enjoyed our stay.

Staff are friendly, rooms/apartments are nicely equipped, Platinum elite recognition (upgrade, welcome amenity/drink) can't be faulted BUT the WiFi is woeful. Signal drops out multiple times every hour, might take 5 mins to come back only to drop out again 5 secs or 10 mins later. This is a problem both in the main building and the apartment blocks so it must be an issue with the hotel's ISP. For doing any work it is basically non-functional. I have cancelled one future reservation because of this issue. A pity because otherwise the experience at the resort is great.

My wife & I spent 2 nights at Kooindah Waters recently and we were extremely happy with the stay. Check in was seamless, the room was spacious,clean & well maintained. As an avid golfer myself, although I didn't play I was able to watch the local members play on what looked a beautiful layout.

Frequently travellers so loved the location and pool area. Room clean. Comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Rooms could use a microwave, toaster and plates. Room service food ordered was lovely but no cutlery provided.

Not happy with the cleanliness of the apartment on arrival. The overall place was quite run down and general upkeep wasn't good. Lots of spider webs over out door area.

Just had a 1 night stay. Great room in Clubhouse accommodation. Golf was great, and staff were very friendly - zero stuffiness or elitism.......unlike other Golf resorts we have stayed at. Good job!
