We stayed in one of the three bedroom apartments for three nights. There were four adults and one child in our party, the room had everything we needed. Lots of space, & our view of the golf course was great. Only note is the rooms aren’t serviced, this only being a problem as rubbish for our large party accumulated over the days, and there is no furniture on the upstairs balcony which I thought was strange because there are stunning views from up there but no where to sit and enjoy them. Overall though, stunning views, amazing staff, large accomodating rooms, we will definitely stay again in future if family events bring us back to the area.

We had a 5 night stay. We were lucky to get a 1 bedroom apartment which is roomy. We however were not lucky that the dishwasher and the washing machine both did not work. A phone call and the maintenance team were there in next to no time and had the washing machine replaced the next day. Dishwasher out of action for full stay. The rooms are clean but starting to show their age. The staff were all good. The only thing that I am unhappy about is the policies that Accor have implemented at some of the sites and now appears to be common. Do not use the environment as a reason to charge the same room rate each night and NOT service the room unless an additional fee is paid. It is really quite ridiculus that if I stay 1 night I pay the same room rate each night as I did for staying 5 nights yet I have to pay more to get the room serviced! You say it is for the environment but it appears that as long as extra payment is made you really dont care?? If 5 different people came each night the room would have been fully serviced each day. Same room rate. We had a 'full service' on our 3rd night at no charge. We normally stay in hotels for work and the best part is coming back to a clean and tidy room after a long day. You changed the Accor PLUS free night so that now we have to stay 2 - pay 1 and get 1 free which just makes it harder to use. It use to be our special 1 night out a year. With all the charges and extras that you would normally just expect to be included in a hotel of this type I am really rethinking my loyalty as an Accor PLUS member. I will not renew next year after 10+ years of loyalty.

I understand how disappointing and inconvenient this would have been during a longer visit, particularly when staying in apartment-style accommodation designed for guest comfort and convenience. I also appreciate your honest comments regarding the condition of the rooms. We are continuing to make upgrades and improvements across the property progressively, and feedback such as yours is valuable in helping us prioritise these works. Regarding stayover servicing, I completely understand your frustration and appreciate you sharing your perspective. Our servicing policy forms part of Accor’s broader sustainability initiatives, with full services provided on extended stays unless additional servicing is requested. However, I do understand that many guests still value returning to a refreshed room each day, especially during work or longer stays, and I will ensure your comments are shared with the relevant teams. I am sorry to hear your recent experiences have left you reconsidering your loyalty as an Accor Plus member, particularly as a returning guest who has clearly supported the brand over time. We genuinely do value your membership and your feedback, and I do hope we may have the opportunity to welcome you back again in the future and provide a smoother experience. I stayed at the Mercure Kooindah Waters Central Coast for an overnight work related trip. I found the facilities to be good, staff were friendly and the room I was allocated was very comfortable. We did find it a bit strange that the restaurant was supposedly booked out but a lot of tables remained vacant. We ate that night in the bar area, and the food and service were both very good, so it turned out to be fine. I used the gym the next morning and it was quite good too. A great location for a work trip.
