We had a great overall stay at Mercure Kooindah Waters. The resort is in a beautiful and peaceful location, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the facilities were well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. We particularly enjoyed the surroundings and the overall resort experience. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would happily return in the future. Definitely a great option for a relaxing getaway with family

Spent the weekend at Mercure Kooindah Waters and it was exactly the reset we needed. The apartment was spacious, clean and well set up plenty of room to spread out, and much better value than a standard hotel room. Waking up to the golf course and gum trees out the window was a highlight. The grounds are beautifully kept and it’s genuinely quiet, which is hard to find. The pool area was lovely, and staff at reception were warm and helpful from check-in through to checkout nothing felt like a hassle. Location works well too: far enough from Sydney to feel like a proper getaway, close enough for an easy drive

Very comfortable room. Golf view room, spacious, clean and comfortable with nice view over ninth green. The only disappointment was the quality of pastries at breakfast which were not up to the high standards of this hotel. They were not fresh and well beyond their best before date. This was mentioned to hotel staff as we were leaving breakfast at the time for the benefit of the hotel and other guests.

Dear Staff I am sorry to write this email to you. But I thought you should know, that room 207 was not to my liking. The room was very tired and definitely not renovated. The lounge was nothing short of putrid, so much so that we could not sit on it. I am not going to leave a negative review. The hotel and staff was amazing, as was our dinner last night, I just thought you should know that I think room 207 needs an upgrade.

From check-in to check-out the staff were lovely. The room was very well appointed - bed a bit hard for my liking - but that is a personal taste thing not a functional failure on behalf of the hotel. If I had one criticism to make it would be that room service took nearly an hour despite stating 20 minutes and the chicken in the chicken burger was so overcooked it was inedible. Fortunately the banoffee pie was delicious so somewhat redeemed the meal. I would stay again anytime.

The room is clean, spacious and comfortable, no complaints there. Unfortunately, the management is a completely different story. On Saturday at 4:14 pm, guests were notified of a possible temporary water outage and told by the hotel manager that water would be restored by 6:00 pm. We returned at 7:30 pm , still no water. We were then told it would not be restored until 9:00–10:00 pm. I asked what contingency plan was in place for guests. Manager Tim’s response was: “there’s water available in the restaurant. We organised a truck of water to supply it.” So, water was organised for the restaurant to keep the business running, but apparently not for paying guests. I asked for plain water so I could simply brush my teeth and wash my face. Instead, Tim offered lemon or sparkling water. When I declined, he became annoyed, said there was nothing he could do, handed me the general manager’s business card, turned his back and walked away, locking the door behind him. Extremely rude and completely unacceptable. I later spoke to the general manager, who blamed the council for giving the hotel only five minutes’ notice. But more than three hours had already passed. When I asked again what the hotel’s contingency plan was, there was no answer. In the end, someone was sent to a shop to buy bottled water, which is exactly what I had suggested in the first place. Unexpected water outages can happen. Poor planning, lack of foresight and treating guests as an afterthought are a management failure. The room was excellent. The management response was anything but.

The location is great. Nice building and the recreation area is perfect. However in regards to the room, it didn't even have a microwave. The tea area was very small and no saucer plates. Just a kettle and two mugs. Unfortunately the night we arrived the water was out until 9pm. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. The view was great and staff were amazing especially Tim.

Enjoyed an overnight stay - so easy to dine and stay in the same location after a day of driving. Lots of lovely walks, generous room size and a delicious dinner. Breakfast was also good, parking was convenient and undercover... all in all a great spot

We had an enjoyable stay. The rooms are a great size & the golf course views are great. The lounge in the lounge room was rather low & uncomfortable to sit on for longer periods of time. The restaurant was probably a bit of a let down. Dirty tables sat uncleaned for long periods of time & the food is overpriced for what you get.
