The room could have been cleaner. The lounge in the room was quite dirty when we arrived. There was also mold on some of the toilet paper and in the showers.

Disappointed to find out that unlike nice looking room photos on website, the one bedroom room was disgusting. Hole in wall, skirting board hanging off a wall, dirty and stain carpet and furniture, spiders on ceiling and dead bugs and a shoe print on bedsheet! In dining/bar area there were worn out leather/vinyl? club style lounges to sit on with big rips in the upholstery. Food from restaurant wasn’t great either. Good news though, the manager was receptive to room change. After dinner, was able to change to room next door which was in a bit better condition but also very dated, at least no spiders! Could not recommend this hotel and was not worth $300 for the night. The decent thing would have been to have money refunded. Expected more from Mercure, would have been a good resort 40 years ago. In fairness, did not see a kingsize bed hotel room, perhaps those rooms have been renovated? Would never stay there again unless there had been a major renovation to the whole resort. Not a pleasant experience at all.

it was our anniversary and husbands 60th birthday we had a lovely time, although the golf course was closed and we weren't advised slight down fall, but we enjoyed our stay all the same

From check-in to check-out, all hotel staff were incredibly pleasant, friendly & accommodating. Our unit was large & clean. The breakfasts & dinners in the restaurant were delicious. Overall we were impressed.
