We recently stayed for 2 nights at Mercure Kooindah Waters Central Coast from the 6th to the 8th of May and had an absolutely wonderful experience. We stayed in a 1 Bedroom Privilege Room and it was awesome. The room itself was spacious, comfortable and very well presented, while the picturesque views overlooking the golf course and landscaped grounds made our stay even more relaxing. What truly made this stay stand out though was the exceptional staff. A special mention to Maggie, Jake, Jody, Roisin, Scotty and Gloria - every one of them was warm, genuine, caring and incredibly professional. They are a real credit to the hotel’s employment and training program and honestly a cut above your usual high-end hotel service standards. Their hospitality genuinely enhanced our stay. My wife mentioned at reception that it was my birthday during our stay and the way the staff acknowledged it and made me feel special was such a thoughtful and appreciated touch. It really added to the overall experience. The grounds were beautifully maintained and we loved being able to play tennis on the hotel courts. It was fantastic that the hotel provided tennis racquets and balls free of charge - a great added bonus. The food throughout our stay was also excellent. If I had one very minor criticism, it would be that the casual bar area is a little small if you’re looking for a more relaxed casual dining experience near the bar itself, as the restaurant area is understandably more geared towards allocated dinner bookings. That said, it certainly wasn’t a major issue, and there is plenty of outdoor seating available, although late autumn evenings can make that a little less appealing. Overall, this was one of the most enjoyable hotel stays we’ve had in a long time and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended!

Great service. Nothing too much trouble. Fantastic facilities. The kids and I enjoyed the pools whilst hubby played a round of golf. Efficient room service. Was lovely to eat outside and watch the world go by. Didn't want to go home. I could have stayed there all week!!

Beautiful location on a golf course, lovely views and quiet. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and a had a balcony with table and chairs. Dining was well catered for and the service was friendly and timely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The staff are always friendly and cant fault. However we were given a weekend away for our first wedding anniversary for having our wedding there. We booked and upon checking in we were given our room. Upon entering our room my husband and I remeber this is the one they gave us to stay in for our actual wedding and we had to ask to be moved as teh room was damp and musty smelling and had issues so we rang reception and they gave us a new room which was much nicer. So the disappointment is that in 12months they have done nothing to fix the issue in teh room. the decor and rooms are a little dated and need a full renovation compared to other accomodations we have stayed in lately. Also breakfast they had a huge influx of people but not enough staff to keep up with the demand so when we went to breakfast there was not alot left and we had to wait for food to be cooked and added to the buffet. We will go back there was nothing stopping us it was just little things needing attention.
