As above,the only problem we had was out of 3 tvs only 1 worked well. We did address the problem with hotel management & had very quick service but still had on & off problems which I related to reception on checkout for followup.

The 1-bedroom unit was spacious. Noticed dirt on the carpet and the table. Room cleaning was done late on one day. No lift, not conveniently accessible. Entrance door to the apartment block was always left open.

Beautiful location and 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in. Terrible front reception service and just constant excuses were made as to why they couldn’t do their organised service and funny enough had nothing to do with Covid

Bed was not a king, as booked. A/C didn’t work, was extremely cold. TV in the bedroom didn’t work. Spa pool was closed, not stated on website. We traveled from Dubbo to have a night away (first since our son was born 9 months ago), picked this hotel because of the spa and indoor pool. It was the most disappointing night away ever, our son ended up in bed with us due to the room being so cold, that wouldn’t have been so bad if we had the king bed we booked! The hotel is a joke and to be honest I don’t think I’ll ever stay with Accor again. We got a refund on our room but still out of pocket after this terrible night away.

Well Located but Tired

We were two couples who stayed in a two bedroom apartment. We have stayed at the property before and enjoyed the experience. It is a great location. The central facility including Reception and the Dining area etc was fine and we enjoyed good hospitality and a nice dinner. This was certainly of a standard we expect for a Mercure hotel. We were disappointed with the rest of the property. Frankly, it is very tired and needs basic maintenance including painting, minor repairs, light bulbs replacing and so on. Our apartment needed a good clean. There was mould in the bathrooms, the shower head dripped and water got all over the floor when the shower was used. The lounge chairs in the living room were grubby and very tired. We would think carefully about staying at the property in the future even though the location is very convenient for us.

Great golf, disappointing hotel.

Booking was easy, checkin was great but no spa or gym as mentioned in advertising. Room light and spacious but poorly cleaned plus cigarette butts in balcony wall. Room was cold and heat control did not work. Tried to call reception but phone did not work. Eventually called on my phone but workman did not know what to do. Insufficient staff in dining room meant we waited over an hour between entree and main course. Food far from satisfactory for the price. Scallop entree at $21 consisted of one scallop sliced in three with a handful of rocket. My tomato soup was watered down pasta sauce with large pieces of tomato skin in it. Bedding had MKW hand written in black marker in the corner. Not luxurious!! Golf shop and course terrific. Will return for golf but never use hotel again. Cannot recommend MKW hotel to anyone.

Check in was disorganised, under-staffed and took nearly 20 minutes. Dinner in the restaurant was a mixed experience - very long wait times for each course, but very friendly and attentive service, and good food. Bar service was similarly slow, and appeared to be under-staffed. Given our group had 22 guests staying the increased busy-ness should have been expected.

We had not had a good day, however when we arrived at the Mercure Kooindah Waters we felt at home, we were welcomed and could not say enough for them. We had a beautiful dinner, a wonderful sleep & a great breakfast, we then booked out & continued on our way to Wollongong.

Spent a very relaxing stay at the Mercure for 4 nights. We were upgrade to a suite that had a large lounge room overlooking the golf course. Our room was comfortable and clean and along with impressive dining opportunities helped to create a great stay
