Found room filthy! bedside tables not cleaned, still sticky with cup rings evident,cobwebs hanging from fan, masking tape holding air ventilation screen in bathroom doors with dirty fingerprints. Chipped and stained furniture Mold found in bathroom. We DID NOT STAY. WE RECEIVED A FULL REFUND. neat grounds and pleasant staff. We strongly suggest Pullmans do a thorough audit of their cleaning companies. it is an embarrassment to Pullmans that you would even consider to continue with the cleaning firm and presenting rooms that way. I wont be staying again.

was lovely and we had a brilliant time. i was so impressed with the service of the staff. my little one loved the activities and we thought everything was super comfy. we stayed in room 1803 and the only complaints i have are that the dishwasher did not work and wouldn’t start and that there was black mould on the bottom of the shear curtain in the master- which i found to be quite disgusting especially considering my infant child was also sleeping in that room with us. otherwise we had a great time!

Room allocated was inferior to the room indicated in my confirmed booking. Room is old and very ordinary. I was given a $100 Shallows credit to use as goodwill gesture. There aren't many entertainment things to do in the resort apart from golfing, indoor swimming, gym which we weren't interested in. The Barretts Restaurant was closed. We were directed to Shallows. When we turned up at Shallows for lunch to use the $100 credit (after having confirmed in the morning that it will be open and serving food), there wasn't any lunch food. Just pies. Apparently, there was no chef.

This was my 3rd time at Magenta shores and unfortunately this trip was a bit of a let down by comparison. With the construction taking place (which we hadn’t been alerted to upon booking beyond one pool closure), not all services were able to be enjoyed as usual. The bar was not well stocked, and wasn’t operating as usual for lunch. The restaurant similarly, wasn’t available for dinner meaning we had to travel for both during our stay. The staff, as always, were lovely but it was certainly not the weekend getaway we had anticipated which was very disappointing.

We were upgraded to a 3 bedroom villa which was spacious and well equipped. We were moved to another villa due hot water issues and the staff were very helpful. This villa was lovely however there were a few maintenance issues such as holes in curtains and the top deck needed repairs. This golf resort has lovely grounds and gardens. The pools were closed as was the restaurant while we were there. The breakfast served in the bar area was good.

Unfortunately, the overall experience was well below the standard we expected, particularly given the positive experience we had previously. Firstly, the room was extremely run down and was not presented to an acceptable standard of cleanliness upon our arrival. We took photographs of the condition of the room and are able to provide these as evidence of our concerns. The most disappointing part of our stay, however, was the breakfast experience. We were advised that the breakfast buffet operated until 10:00am. We arrived at approximately 9:30am, which should have provided more than enough time to have breakfast. Instead, we arrived to find the buffet practically empty, with very little food remaining and no intention from staff to replenish it. The breakfast area itself was also extremely dirty and poorly maintained. If breakfast is advertised as being available until 10:00am, guests arriving at 9:30am should reasonably expect food to still be available and replenished until close to the advertised finishing time. Closing at 10:00am should not mean that the service effectively finishes at 9:30am. We are a family of five and had also invited friends to join us at Pullman Resort because our previous experience had been so enjoyable. We had spoken very highly of the resort and recommended it based on that experience. To then have our friends witness the condition and standard of the breakfast service was extremely embarrassing and disappointing. We had paid for breakfast for two days. However, after the experience on the first morning, we chose not to return for breakfast the following day. I do not believe we should be charged for a service that was not delivered to an acceptable standard. Unfortunately, the poor service was not limited to breakfast. When I arrived at Pullman Resort, I waited at reception for approximately 10 minutes with nobody there to assist me. Several staff members walked past, looked at me, and continued walking without acknowledging me or offering assistance. Even a simple acknowledgement that someone would be with me shortly would have been appropriate. For a resort of Pullman’s standard, this level of cleanliness, service and guest care is simply not acceptable. It was particularly disappointing because we had previously had such a positive experience and returned expecting the same standard. I would appreciate management reviewing our stay, including the condition of the room, the breakfast service and the lack of service at reception. I am also requesting an appropriate refund or compensation, particularly for the breakfast we paid for but were effectively unable to enjoy. I have photographs available to support the concerns raised regarding both the room and the condition of the breakfast area. I would appreciate a formal response from management addressing these concerns and advising how you intend to resolve this matter.

The lady at reception was the epitome of Pullman service and was the only stand out feature of the stay. The villa was very worn. Light fittings hanging from sockets, outdoor setting missing seats and the table wasn't significantly peeling and dilapidated. Coffee machine did not work. TV in loungers did not work. Shower leaked all over bathroom floor ( but I must say was a great shower). But the worst part was the pull down blinds are see thru and no other option, so all and sundry could see you at nighttime if u had lights on, so we spent the entire time upstairs watching the tiny TV from bed.

Overall the accommodation was great but your cafe/bistro needs some work. - on the first night we checked in, we went to have a drink and an early dinner as we have a 6 month old. We arrived at 5pm and couldn’t find menus so I asked the guy at the bar. He said he was only putting them out at 5:30pm. Fine to only start taking orders at 5:30pm but I asked again about getting a menu so we could have a look which he then agreed to give it to me. The menu said it was available from 4pm-9:30pm so not sure why we could only order from 5:30pm. - my husband and I then decided we would just have a drink first then order food at 5:30. But he went to the bar and the guy then said he could only make the cocktail at 5:30pm. This to me was extremely bizarre as it’s a hotel bar so surely you can have cocktails at any time. Plus they had just finished happy hour from 4-5 so all of a sudden they weren’t making cocktails? - the next morning we decided to have breakfast. There was only our table and another lady’s table who ordered after us. She received her meal first so my husband went and asked. The kitchen didn’t receive our order so they had missed it and it took us to go enquire rather than the staff knowing who’s food hadn’t come out. - coffees were way too expensive at $8 for a large. That’s just ridiculous, no matter where you are staying. Also the whole menu is extremely pricey for what it is. We just felt like there was always something when we went to the cafe/bistro which was disappointing.
