The resort has great potential though I found that the accommodation was not quite the "resort-style" I was expecting. However, food and beverage facilities were sensational and so was the customer service!

We stayed in 4- bedroom Beach House there during Covid period. Hotel gym, sauna /steam room were closed. At the restaurant waiting time was about 25-30 min to get basic coffee/drinks and main dishes were served within one hour (only partly and with multiple mistakes). Restaurant staff seem not to be ready to provide basic services. We strongly believe that it would better to stay away from staying and/or dinning there until Covid matters would be resolved or maybe the Management would decide and train their staff to work during current challenging time. Overall Services of the level of cheap road motel with barking dog 24 hours next door. also no WiFi signal. Very disappointing stay for 750 AUD rate per night (stayed two nights last week of July).

We were warmly welcomed by all staff - in particular, Dan in Shallows and Isabelle in the restaurant - both went out of their way to chat and welcome us each time we came in, be it for a meal or drink. The staff were all attentive and could not be more helpful. Will definitely stay again!

I want a shout out to Sean at Customer Services / Reception, for making our booking possible! He went above and beyond to book our package deal. We really love staying at your resort even in the adverse weather that happened. Adam was also amazing and his service is exceptional. Breakfast staff (when Adam was not on) still struggle with getting guests drink orders out at all.

This was the 2nd time we stayed here and contrary to the 1st time it was not great. The service was very poor and slow in the restaurant and the bar. We waited around one hour one day for breakfast and with two babies that seemed a lot longer. The accommodation was not baby friendly at all and the kitchen equipment was not usable. The dish washer was not cleaning dishes properly and when we arrived the dishes in washing machine were dirty after the wash cycle. The knives was not usable.

We are accorplus members and were upgraded to a 1 bedroom villa. We had booked a studio. It was nicely appointed. The bed was really comfortable. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and were well looked after but special shout out to Mel as she was really attentive coming back to let us know how things were going as it was a very busy night. Sean at reception was also very helpful. Had a relaxing stay. Recommend this resort.

We received the normal very high standard of Accor hospitality in this resort, which caters for both golfers and non-golfers. All staff coving reception, Shallows Bar and the main restaurant were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. All Covid-19 safety guidelines were followed. We stayed in a three bedroom apartment which was very spacious, contemporary and very well equipped. Our friends stayed in a one bedroom apartment, which was beautifully appointed, spacious and spotlessly clean throughout. The accommodation is to a very high standard. The meals served in the Shallows Bar offer a great choice at very competitive prices. So even though the main restaurant is only open from Thursday to Sunday, the Shallows Bar offers an excellent alternative in an informal setting.

Don’t need to choose, You can get both at Pullman Magenta Shores. 5 Star property? Could be, but doesn’t have any luxe touches..... ROOM : I rang several days before to say I was not good with stairs. Young lady said there were about 5 steps to the studio I was allocated. Arrived and I had been “upgraded “ to a 2 bed villa with 24 steps up to bathroom and bedroom. No assistance offered with luggage . Had to leave my suitcase downstairs in the kitchen for 2 days because I couldn’t get it up the stairs. No other rooms available. beautiful photo of studio on Luxury Escapes enticed me with a view of the studio looking onto the golf course. Locked inside for Covid, I dreamed of lying in the bed and looking out on that golf course, My (upstairs) bedroom looked into 2 bushes...... Restaurants and bars unwelcoming......bright lights instead of soft magic soothing lighting while you are enjoying a pre dinner drink or dinner. Staff eager but all over the shop......seat you In bar or restaurant and don’t come back for 15-20 minutes to see if you are ready to order a drink or a meal, or want anything else, meanwhile serving later arrivals drinks before my order had even been taken. Forgot serviettes, salt and pepper shakers empty when they finally arrived, plates not cleared even 15 minutes after you have finished eating and STILL waiting for your coffee which you ordered 45 minutes ago......3 stars???, maybe 2? Then it takes 3 people to sort out the bill...... A quick one course breakfast took more than an hour on 2 days. Mmmm.....luxury escape? Stress level went up 50 points!!!

The villa I booked through Luxury Stays was a 3 bed villa. When we arrived they only had us in a studio. Had to wait over an hour to have it changed over. Then we were put in a two bed villa and it was disgusting to say the least...

A 5 star resort this is not, at best 4 at times 2.5. Having stayed there with the same couple, many years ago, we were really excited to return. We had two couples and two two year olds staying in a two bedroom villa. The rooms have marks all over the walls, pictures not hung straight, bathtub missing plugs, no garbage bags in the bins, one little satchel of washing liquid, no tv's in the bedrooms, one car space only. Trying to contact concierge, the phone was constantly busy, I ended up calling the main number and being transferred. When we went for breakfast the first day, it took 1 hour 39 for our meal to arrive (a few big breakfasts and coffees), the second day we received our breakfast in around 10 15 minutes, however the couple next to us, were waiting a long time. Maybe just nitpicking here but the golf course is not very well maintained for a destination course. It's the little details that make hotels and resorts 5 star, not the price they charge. One the flip side, the dinner we had was delicious and the service was 100% 5 star. Our wives said the spa/massage was incredible. Overall it was a very under whelming stay, but luckily we were with great company and made the most of it.

From checkin the service was poor. No emthapy for someone paying $450 per night- Ridiculous cost. Any comment was addressed with “it in the terms and conditions“ - specifically the extra charge for service. Quite extraordinary to expect to pay for service at this price. Somehow a voucher appeared for bed-and-breakfast – poorly organised restaurant sharing of menus across patrons without cleaning no cutlery distributed with food. No microwave in “studio“ lack of furniture overall very unsatisfactory. I facilitate sessions regularly for executives and will not recommend your organisation again.
