Very professional, albeit friendly and helpful staff. They will go the extra mile for you. Very comfortable beds...excellent shower. Lovely gym, nice outside pool. Very nicely decorated ... modern but very tasteful. Highly recommendable hotel ... not the cheapest, but definitely worth the expense.

Stayed for 2 nights in Nov. We had a room overlooking the bay. The view was spectacular. Our room was pleasant. Plenty of room with a large bed and sufficient space for suitcases. The room was very quiet and a pleasant temperature without having to have on the air conditioning. We slept very soundly. The room was clean. The breakfast was great. A comprehensive selection of hot, cold, healthy and not so healthy options. We used the pool. Small, but nice to go there for a while after a day looking round Montevideo before the sun disappeared. We had a drink at the bar and the staff were very friendly, answering our questions about the city and Uruguay. There were plenty of restaurants nearby within easy walking distance. Great stay and would recommend.

I booked a double "superior" room , but this was a twin room at the back without view. Reception was good and the decor impressive. Room lacked tea/coffee making facilities. The hair condition bottle was empty. The room was not perfectly clean, not enough to complain but off-putting. The bar staff were slow and more interested in serving locals, nonresidents. Breakfast was good. I would not return.

We were go en a room for people with reduced mobility, without informing us. No seating area in the room, no space in the bathroom to stow anything and the shower water was running all the way through the bathroom. Since the hotel was full, nothing could be done. Besides the friendly communication from a woman at the reception and one bar man, the staff seemed a bit lost, and mostly focused on the big groups of tourists, and giving us the feeling that we don’t belong there. For us not up to par with 5 star hotels at all
