We had our Wedding Night in the hotel. They gave us champagne and macarons as a gift. They also left a lovely surprise for us when we came back from our wedding. The accomodations were impeccable and the breakfast was peak.

A few opportunities to address: you have to request an iron and ironing board, it does not come with the room as typical; 1 or 2 hangers max in each room; small bathroom; some USB outlets do not work; some light fixtures by the bed are unscrewed and need attention. Only 1 attendant at a time speaks English and communication can be a challenge. At the restaurant, if you order a Coffee drink outside of thee buffet, it takes a while to get it, sometimes longer than 15 minutes and you need to remind one of the waiters.

A slightly dated but still nice hotel along the Montevideo sea front. I would recommend staying there. I would not put it into the five star category but given the price I still felt I got value for money. The room was nice and the breakfast was not bad either.
