From check in to checking out, I was treated with dignity, respect and most of all a very friendly and helpful staff at my back and call. My every request was promptly satisfied. The entire staff was genuinely friendly and polite.

There are many great things about this hotel. The building is like a museum yet the standart rooms are very under decorated and overly plain looking. Yes the rooms do meet all the needs a guest would need but when paying such prices you expect more than souly needs being met. On this last visit I was given a really unpleasent room (Room 522) with windows looking out to a wall, a wardrobe about 100cm tall and only a small round table to put my personal items on. I am not satisfied with what I received, there are plenty of alternatives in London with much better room options for this price. The nearest one being just round the corner Corinthia. I am not sure whether I'll be returning to The OWO again. As I I mentioned above there are many great things about the hotel such as staff quality but when paying more then a thousand pounds a night I expect more from a room. On the positive side, the breakfast has improved quite a bit and I would say its up to standarts now.

Staff are very polite, knowledgeable and go out of their way to assist guests. The hotel is exquisite and you can tell the attention paid to the small details that separates this hotel from others.

Over all, we had a very good experience, in particular, the staff in the pool area. Very polite and helpful. Reception were also very helpful, and we had some excellent suggestions of things to do around London, and also with directions to destinations. We had breakfast in the Drawing Room on both mornings and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Unfortunately, our experience of our evening meal in Saison did not match the excellent service we had during the rest of our stay. We had a table booked for 20:30, the earliest we could get, and the only other diners in there was a party of four. We ordered scotch egg and a salad as starters, reasonably enjoyable, and fish and chips, the Friday special which was extremely lacklustre. The batter on the fish was extremely pale, and not cooked in places, as was the fish, and it felt as if the food was almost thrown on the plate We did point out the quality of the cooking and my meal was refunded with no quibble. We also felt a little rushed and uncomfortable, at the end of the meal, as although it was barely 22:00 and service finished at 22:30, the tables around us were being reset for breakfast, and we were the only diners left in the restaurant. As we passed the Drawing Room, we noticed the were still quite a few people left in there, and none of the tables had been reset for breakfast. This was the deciding factor on our choice of the Drawing Room for both of our breakfasts. Despite this niggle, we had a thoroughly good stay, and would love to return for another visit, one day.

There is not one thing to improve upon - truly one of the best stays I have ever had. From the friendly staff who remembered my name to the comfort of the bedding. It is in the heart of London, so close to major sites and river.
