It was lovely, checking in was straight forward and everyone was welcoming. It was only an overnight stay so I did not get a chance to use many of the facilities, but the room was very comfortable.

great service, excellent breakfast, but rooms are small. Gym has very limited equipment and is small. Overall a good place to say in central Beauvais. Parking is limited in from of the hotel but there is additional parking in the area.

Booked a privilege room, very comfortable. Free soft drinks, free water, coffee pods provided: unfortunately we had to ask everyday for soft drinks and coffee pods, no account taken of the fact that my husband is diabetic and can not have fruit juice. Not sure why we paid extra for a privilege room? Otherwise everything was very good.

The reception gentleman was extremely friendly and welcoming when we arrived; he was quick to offer us a free drink in line with my loyalty membership - which was much appreciated when we arrived for a 1 night stay during the Canicule (heatwave) on 19 June 2026 en route to the Loire Valley. After we had taken our luggage up to our room and come back downstairs, his female colleague helpfully provided us with a map of Beauvais and pointed out the sites which was great. I had previously exchanged emails with the reception team regarding car parking arrangements: we managed to park in one of the few spaces on site, but the team had been helpful in explaining and providing information on available car parking opposite (payable at certain points in the day) and in parking spaces adjacent to the hotel (free). I found the team highly efficient, professional and kind. The night porter needs to be thanked as well, as he organised fresh milk for us to take to our room so that we could have fresh milk with tea in the morning - at no extra charge, unlike some other hotels. There was a lovely seating area next to the bar as well as tables and chairs outside at the front, from which to enjoy the "world going by". Our bedroom was very comfortable with a powerful shower and an exceptionally clean bathroom. The view towards the Cathedral was delightful and the aircon worked a treat. We didn't eat at the hotel, choosing to wander our way into the centre of Beauvais for drinks and dinner, as the restaurant menu looked a little limited - we found a great little Italian ("Little Italy") in the town. All in all, I would use this hotel again and rate the hotel's staff, service, rooms, and comfort very highly.

Beauvais Mercure is a wonderful hotel in a great location, near to the Cathedral and Museum. It is only a ten minute walk to the station. My room was impeccably clean and spacious.

We were staying in Beauvais at a place that didn't have air conditioning during the heat-dome heatwave of 2026, so we decided to book a 'respite' day in the Mercure Beauvais Centre Cathedral. I booked using the ALL Accor app to get the best rate - and found that I could improve that room rate even further by using some loyalty points, which I did. As soon as we entered the air-conditioned lobby we felt we were in heaven. The receptionists we dealt with there both friendly and efficient - and we're able to fulfill our request to move from our originally assigned room (which had a bath-shower combination) to one with a walk-in shower. Both rooms were a decent size, were well decorated, and spotlessly clean. The bed was big and comfortable which, in combination with the room's air conditioning, gave us a great night's sleep. The hotel has an excellent location close to the Cathedral and MuDO, maybe just five minutes from Place Jeanne Hachette. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the rooms clean and large. If I had any complaint, it's that the pillows are not suitable for a side sleeper, my head wasn't supported even with two of them, and that led to an uncomfortable night.

Concernant le mini-réfrigérateur, nous avons fait le choix, dans une démarche écologique et de réduction de notre consommation énergétique, d’éteindre certains équipements lorsque les chambres sont inoccupées. Nous comprenons néanmoins que cela puisse être perçu comme moins confortable à l’arrivée et nous vous remercions pour votre remarque constructive à ce sujet. Enfin, au sujet du surclassement lié au statut ALL Gold, celui-ci reste soumis aux disponibilités et aux conditions opérationnelles du jour de l’arrivée. Water should be offered in the rooms as standard. I understand wanting to minimise plastic use, however water can be provided in other materials such as cartons or glass. I think this is a cost saving the hotel put over the comfort of their guests.

Pleasant one-night stay though our "Privilege" room wasn't as good as in other Mercure hotels. Small, a couple of sachets of instant coffee, a single paper cup each - rather niggardly provision for a premium price room.
