We’re genuinely sorry, however, that the welcome and communication with our team did not meet your expectations. We fully understand that friendliness and a minimum level of assistance are important, even in a budget hotel. Regarding the police registration form, this is simply a standard administrative document required as part of hotel regulations. We’re sorry if this procedure, or the way it was explained, made you feel uncomfortable or unwelcome. As for shops and restaurants nearby, our team always does its best to provide guests with the information available to us. However, we unfortunately have no control over the opening hours or availability of businesses outside the hotel. We’re sorry if the information provided did not correspond to what you later found on site. Finally, we apologise for the empty soap dispenser and the condition of the room. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. From the moment we checked in, the customer service felt unfriendly and unwelcoming. I was given a form to complete even though the hotel already had my booking details. The receptionist did not explain the form properly; she simply drew strong lines across parts of the paper and handed it to me. I later realised that she was trying to show me where I needed to write. I politely asked if there was anywhere nearby that was still open. I was told, in a loud and unpleasant tone, that everything closed at 6pm, that we would not make it anywhere in time, and that if we wanted food we should buy it from the hotel. However, when I later went into the town with my children, I found many places open, some until very late at night. This was particularly disappointing because we were visitors and relied on the local information given by the hotel staff. We were also handed two small pieces of paper without any proper explanation. When I asked where the room key was, I was simply told that the door used a code and that the code was written on the paper. A short, friendly explanation during check-in would have made everything much easier. When I returned after dinner with my children, another member of staff was at reception. I politely asked him about a place that had been recommended to us, but he replied “no” without even looking at me and appeared annoyed by the question. I then asked about transport, such as a bus or another option to get to the airport, and received the same dismissive attitude. The same employee was there when we checked out. I asked where I should leave the paper/card I had with me, and instead of speaking to me, he simply pointed towards where I should put it. Unfortunately, the room itself did not improve the experience. The soap dispenser was empty, and the overall condition of the room was not good. I understand that this is a budget hotel, and I did not expect luxury. But being a budget hotel should not mean poor customer service, a lack of basic explanations, incorrect local information, or an unfriendly attitude towards guests. The location near Beauvais Airport is very convenient, but unfortunately the service made our stay a very negative experience. A little politeness, eye contact and willingness to help would have made a huge difference.

Prices could be lower, given the “budget” conditions offered. Please have someone look at your windows, since they do not close tight enough to be soundprood. The takeoff of planes could be heard very loudly, even is the window was securey closed. My main complaint would be the mechanism to automatically close the doors. They pull the door to close so strong and fast, that the whole building shakes when somebody leaves the door to close by itself. This is especially horrible in the middle of the night when people enter or leave the rooms next to you: the doors slamming by themselves are so lound and forcefull that the whole bed shakes.

Our rates naturally vary depending on demand, particularly given our location right next to Beauvais Airport. Regarding the noise, we understand your frustration. Being located next to an airport unfortunately means that aircraft noise can occasionally be heard, even with the windows closed. We will nevertheless have our maintenance team check the window seals to ensure they are closing properly. As for the doors, we completely understand your point. The automatic closing mechanism is designed for safety and fire regulations, but we agree that a door does not need to sound like a **take-off announcement at 2 a.m.** 😉 We will ask our maintenance team to check whether the closing force can be adjusted while remaining compliant with safety requirements. We arrived late to the airport so stayed here before heading into central Paris. The hotel was a ten minute walk from the terminal. The room was very small for three - the two beds took up nearly all of the floor space! However, it was fine for a short stopover. The breakfast was fine - a selection of pastries, breads, cheese, yoghurt and ham with jams etc.
