JO&JOE is a house open for all, a cool and caring social hub! For people travelling alone, in pairs or in groups, we offer an ideal and appropriately priced shared or private accommodation in Paris - Gentilly. As well as serving the best hot dogs in town and awesome cocktails, we also have a self-serving beer tap system! Located right in front of the biggest Parisian campus, the JO&JOE Paris-Gentilly is ideally located with the B line RER train that will take you directly to the center of Paris.

Located between the Porte d'Orléans and the Porte de Gentilly, a 5-minutes walk from the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris and 10-minutes from the Charlety Stadium. JO&JOE is located next to the RER B line which is directly connected to the center of Paris (20 minutes) and to Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport (45 minutes). Orly Airport is only at 35 minutes. The Tramway T3 is very close too.

My stay at Jo & Joe was great. The staff where lovely and really helpful, all of the facilities were really modern and clean, the beds where comfy and the cabin rooms are incredible. My light did keep turning on randomly in the middle of the night though but other than that, this place was literally perfect. The lockers are so useful for safely storing luggage and the location is ideal being just a short walk from the station and a short train ride from all the main sites. Thank you!

Discovered bed bug bites on hands and leg after staying two days. Laundry dryer did not work after using two coins (six euros). Staff friendly, but took a long time to get laundry coins.

A pretty okay hostel not that far away from the center (about 30min by metro), but you can definitely get better hostels with the same amount of money. My main complaint is the lack of privacy, since in the dorms you do not have any curtains or full walls between the beds, which are standard in other hostels in this price range. It almost feels like they wanted to make the experience a bit uncomfortable to punish you for not picking a private room, like they but a little half wall between the leg of my bed and the bed opposite of mine, so that I could always see the other guy. How much would curtains and a full-sized piece of plywood cost?? Also, if you're very unlucky you might end up in the one bed that sticks out of the bunk bed and has nothing covering it, so absolutely no privacy. Cleanliness is my other issue. My room had an ensuite bathroom, which is great especially if you are travelling on your period like I was, but I'm concerned about how often they are cleaned. If I have to pay extra for it, I think they should be cleaned daily, but they definitely aren't. The shared kitchen/ "happy house" was also pretty nasty, and the "funny" notes about your mother not being there so you better clean your own dishes ;)))))) just annoyed me, I paid too much for you to be so smug, like I will totally do my own dishes but maybe you could use some of the money I gave you to keep the premises somewhat clean :) So yeah, I'll stay here again if I don't have other option, but I know that there are nicer places closer to the center in this price range. To point out some more positives in this place, the staff was nice and apparently you can buy pizza from the restaurant during the night, which sounds great.

Bed sheets were dirty with black sains on it, bathrooms and toilets where dirty… Bar and kitchen employees where kind and made it great, but front desk people are not the most polite people. They don’t answer to a hello or good bye and don’t even watch at your when you’re talking with them

First of all, the AC was broken we were cold all night long though we noticed this to the workers and yet they did NOT come up with a solution. The quilts were dusty, not hygenic. We were gonna stay for only one night in Paris, and it was the worst night ever.
