Room was dirty and tired. Carpet had many dirty marks, handles were missing from drawers, no TV remote, sink was unusable as plug was jammed closed!, all in all a very tired and run down feeling for the room. Staff confirmed that maintenance sessions were few and far between and it shows!

Lovely venue, second time there. Room 15 the shower cubicle needs re grouting it starting to look its age. A choice of pillows would be good instead of 4 pillows exactly the same i.e too fat, A slimmer choice would be a good addition as I had to sleep on the bed cushions and it wasn't great.

We booked for 2 adults and when we checked out we where told they had thought there was only one of us despite us telling them the guest total when booking and an extra £20 was added to our stay when we checked out (probably wouldn’t have minded if had been told before or during our stay about this) room was okay, bed was a bit too soft so husband slept on blanket on floor

Our rate for single occupancy is £109, while the rate for double occupancy is £119. As your booking was for two adults, the additional £20 was the difference between the single and double occupancy rates. We apologise if this was not made clear to you at the time of booking or during your stay, and we understand how this could have been frustrating. Regarding the mattress, we use Hypnos mattresses in all of our rooms, which are known for their comfort and quality. We’re sorry to hear that you found the mattress too soft and that it affected your sleep. We appreciate that mattress comfort is very personal and can vary from guest to guest. Stayed two nights for my pals’ wedding. Facilities were nice and clean, and everyone had a fab time. The staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the gent who got me cheese and crackers at 2am. My blood sugar dropped dangerously low just as I got back to the room so you honestly saved me being blue lighted to the nearest hospital. Thank you all! :)
