I left the car window open accidently and one jacket (blue from Columbia) that was inside went missing.. I asked the reception whether could announce or ask if there was some camera or something that could be done, answer was I will check with my colleague, but I did not receive any feedback..

It’s enough to pass the night but it’s not a real Mercure. I have stayed previously in other Mercures and they just made it a Mercure because it’s not possible or doesn’t look good to have an Ibis next to the Porsche museum. The room distribution is the one of a classic Ibis. Also the cleaning of the room was mid (not bad but not enough for a Mercure standard). As said this hotel is an Ibis disguised as a Mercure.

A hotel with severe shortcomings in hygiene/room cleaning, room quality, and breakfast. I had to wait at both check-in and departure because the front desk was unstaffed. The room was dirty (hair in the bathroom) and run-down, my Welcome Amenities as a Gold Member were not provided, nor was I recognized or valued as a member according to my status. The breakfast team did not hand over a bill to sign, nor was I greeted with a friendly "good morning." Tables were not cleared, and the quality of the food leaves a lot to be desired.

Hotel is nice but difficult for elderly people as one has to climb on stairs along with the luggage. Tram station is 15 minutes walk, its close by.

We were unlucky to arrive at Stuttgart during the hottest period that city ever experienced. The hotel room that I stayed didn’t have air conditioning, also the window got constant sunlight throughout the day which make matters worse. Receptionist gave us a tower fan but it just didn’t help to rotate the hot air out from the room during our sleep which is exhausting for us. When we are in the room doing nothing, I had to open the window and point the fan out to blow the hot air out to the hallway or take the cold air from the hallway in. I think it would be better if the hotel has a heat pump like most of modern hotel nowadays in Nordic. At least it will keep the temperature to reasonable degree in the hottest summer and keep the room warm during winter too.

1. we need to have some restaurant service as we have to walk for 10/15 minutes to get to an restaurant 2. air conditioning is on in certain rooms and not working in some of the rooms 3. bar closes at 6.30 4. no intercom in the room - had to come twice done to ask for thing.

I stayed with you due to my visit to the Porsche Factory and museum. The bar and any food was not available because your bar manager was on holiday. As a hotel you are suppose to provide staff cover not completely close these services. Also there were only a handful of restaurants in this area and they were all closed on a Monday. Sorry but not acceptable service

The room is too hot during our stay. We requested if we can have another ventilator but it appears that it is only allowed 1 ventilator per room. There is also no room available during that time when i requested for an upgrade or to transfer to other room. Shower holder in the bathroom is also broken as well as the small mirror.

Good: very kind and attentive staff (reception & breakfast) Bad: - I had booked for two people, but then had to go to reception myself in the evening to get bed linen and towels for the extra person - No hot water for showering at 6.45 am. It seems this has been known for some time that this happens when the hotel is fully booked (told after asking at the reception). - Breakfast: For €18.50, we would have expected a bit more (as from other hotels). The breakfast was served in a haphazard manner; there was still water in the bowls of tomato and mozzarella, the sausages in the warming trays had dried out and were inedible, and some of the scrambled eggs weren’t fully cooked. I know that cutting back is the order of the day in many areas, but please not on this ;-) .

When one morning there was no hot water, the receptionist apologised profusely and offered us (4 guests) a coffee free of charge the next morning.
