This was a highly impressive stay. From room quality to dining and service details, the hotel consistently reflects the standard expected of a historic and iconic property. The Signature Riverview Suite is spacious and well designed, with excellent sound insulation despite facing the busy Bund. The in-room welcome fruit selection stands out in particular, with noticeably better quality than what is offered in other dining venues, showing thoughtful attention to detail. Breakfast and lounge offerings feature partial daily rotation. The main restaurant provides a wider selection, including more local specialties, making it the preferred choice overall. The lounge team is professional and welcoming, and their service is a highlight of the stay. The hotel’s heritage tour is also highly recommended. It offers valuable insight into the property’s rich history and further enhances the overall experience. All in all, this is a classic hotel that successfully combines cultural heritage with consistently high service standards.

Truly an exceptional stay at this iconic, well located property. The stay was elevated by the above and beyond attitude of everyone single member of the team there. Special shout out to Max from the gold lounge, it was truly a pleasure dealing with you. We really appreciate the way you tried to accommodate our requests and the recommendations you provided were priceless. Melody and Tao were also both excellent. The gold lounge is also quite good here, offering good variety and a spacious spot to relax. The property is on the older side but very well maintained.
