People ask me why I keep going back to the same hotel. I tell them to stay there and they will understand. It is a true 5 star hotel in a location that can't be beat for shopping and sight seeing. The selection in the restaurant for breakfast is great, the dumplings with the crunchy crust are always on my plate with plenty of other selection. Most importantly staff that really do make me feel like they appreciate that I have chosen to stay there. Terence again taking the time to talk about my days exploring Shanghai and seeing if there is anything I need, and making sure that any extras that I have asked for in the past are provided without me having to ask. Max in the gold lounge knowing how I like my coffee and having it on table before I get there with my snacks. The bamboo massage with Jenny in the spa was the best intense, invigorating massage I have ever had. Next time I will do it on my first day to shake off the jet lag.

Everything is great at the Fairmont Peace Hotel. We stayed here twice during my birthday trip to China and I got a nice birthday cake each time. Staff are warm and welcoming, breakfast was top notch and the room was fabulous. They also took care of the bag I left behind during our firat stay and gave it to me when we returned for the 2nd stay. Willl always stay at the Fairmont Peace when in Shanghai.

We have stayed this iconic hotel in Shanghai for many times. It’s best location which you could easily walk to the Bund and the pedestrian on Nanjing Road. Most importantly the service has been fantastic - whether it’s at Jazz Bar, Spa and restaurants where we went for, the service was excellent. We’ll come back again whenever we visit Shanghai.
