She handled the check-in process efficiently, took the time to understand my preferences, and thoughtfully arranged a quiet room on a high floor with a great view. Throughout my stay, she was always available to assist with any requests, offering helpful local recommendations and ensuring I felt completely taken care of. Amy's professionalism, attention to detail, and sincere hospitality truly exemplify the high standards of the Pullman brand. It's rare to encounter such dedicated service, and she made me feel valued as a guest every step of the way. Pros: location is very close to Shanghai railway station which makes it easier to go on day trips to Suzhou, Hangzhou and other nearby cities. Rooms are comfortable. Can be improved: the concierge staff and doorman cannot speak English. I think for a five-stars hotel, basic English skill is expected to help guests with directions, taxi drivers, etc. Wifi quality is poor, this needs to be improved too.

Proximity to metro station and located centrally. Good breakfast selection together with good ambient music throughout the day. Receptionist, concierge and housekeeping is very good (including robot deliveries). On the downside, welcome drinks selection is very limited and the male lobby toilet is smokey and uncomfortable. The spa pool wasn't working but the steam room was excellent and staff were helpful.

Location in a undesirable part of Jing An. Generally staff were unhelpful. Shower gel bottle was empty and dirty tissue was left on the armchair. Breakfast selection was adequate but seating was self help and dining utensils not regularly refilled. Overall a disappointment for the Pullman brand.
