Fantastic CBD location for a shopping staycay! Book direct with the hotel website for the best rates. Get a corner King room for the good views out to the harbour. The room was spacious, comfortable, bug bathroom. Good amenities that are eco friendly. The staff were all great, including the concierge who looked after our bags before check in, to the smooth check in on level 8. The Arches bar and snacks were good for dinner after a long day shopping. Late check out of 11am means you can take time over the good value breakfast buffet. It's 6 mins walk to Gadigal metro, 12 mins to Cockle Bay wharf, 12 mins to the art gallery so it's in prime position. The pool is a vibe, but popular with kids.

From our arrival to our departure two days later. The stay was fantastic. Checked in with the inclusion of an upgrade. Modern and pristine room with inner city views. A suitable stock of goodies in the mini bar and all the required accessories. Like an iron and ironing board in the room. Well done.

The location of Swissotel is ideal for a trip to Sydney. Located next to Pitt St Mall and directly opposite the State Theatre nothing is very far away. A couple of minutes after leaving the room we were at the QVB Tram spot giving you easy access to Circular Quay and Paddy's Market. if you are happy to walk and the weather is good both locations are only a short distance away. Darling Harbour is also an easy walk away. Breakfast is overpriced at $44 per person. As an Accor Plus member we received 50% discount as there was two of us dining. Had we not had the discount I would not have taken breakfast at the restaurant. Servicing Rooms was a poor. We stayed Thursday night to Monday morning. On the Saturday Morning we left the hotel around 9am and returned after lunch. Our room was not serviced during this time even though we had indicated the room was vacant. This appears to be a common issue with hotels as they generally prioritise servicing rooms that are being checked out. A basic improvement that could be made is to have an early cleaner who could commence servicing rooms when people are leaving for breakfast . Overall the stay was pleasant but attention to the small details would not go astray.

Swissotel Sydney is perfectly situated, with major tourist attractions, shops, and a variety of excellent dining options all within easy walking distance. The rooms are clean and comfortable with all necessary amenities, ensuring a pleasant stay. The check-in process was smooth, and the concierge was helpful in recommending places to visit, navigating the tram system, and offering general tips for getting around the city. It’s a city hotel so views are mainly buildings. A standout feature are the shops that are all around the hotel and good food court located in the same building, ideal for a quick bite. Special mention goes to Sid at the concierge desk who was very helpful. And if you have the time, do visit Dymocks bookshop which is round the corner and just brilliant! All in all, a good experience!

I've stayed a few times at Swissotel Sydney, mainly for the convenient location to the L2/L3 tram line to easily go between Central station and Circular Quay. The hotel is near to QVB and other major shopping areas. Close to restaurants, bars and cafe's. Easy walk to Darling Harbour and Theatre district. The hotel is excellent with good large sized rooms that are very clean. The large bed was like sleeping on clouds. The bathroom is spacious and well appointed with separate bath and large walk-in shower. Friendly service from staff in reception, as well as bar and restaurant. The onsite restaurant has a wonderful menu and wine list. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again on my next visits to Sydney.
