Not my first time in this hotel. I even stayed before it was renovated. I think it’s the hotel in Izmir.
New placement and design of reception is disappointing,
wifi is with sms (not room no+name) and non turkish mobile number can not receive sms!, nothing against cats (we have one at home) but not normal to have them in breakfast area, i had sea view room with a great view bu t i could hear much of street noise and rain

We stayed a week at Swissotel Izmir and were thoroughly impressed with everything about the hotel. Everything from the location, warm welcome at reception, the plentiful options at breakfast right through to the immaculately kept grounds and cleanliness of the rooms and stunning environment and art installations. .
The room we requested was garden facing and from the 4th floor where we were located gave us excellent views of the pool and grounds. The room was spacious with both a bathtub and shower. Bottled water was provided each day as well as an excellent selection of teas. There was a Nespresso machine but pods were at additional cost, which seemed bizarre!
The hotel is perfectly located for the popular areas of Alsancak and Konak as well as the popular attractions of Kemeraltı Çarşı, Kordon Boyu and the Clock Tower.
We will certainly return when we next visit Izmir.

I don't remember her name, but the housekeeper the 1st 3 days was great. A friendly lady about 5 ft tall. You can look up my reservation and see what shift and floors she worked.

All my friends found the room numbering very strange.....3000 rooms on the second floor mixed with the 2000 rooms. Signs could be posted near the lifts with the nearest rooms to deserve.
