We were placed in the smallest room I've ever seen in my life on first night. We have told the staff that the shower drain didn't work properly so we couldn't really shower, they told us there were no other rooms available or no handyman available to fix the issue, we literally had to shower inside a dirty water lake. They didn't fix the issue the next day either and we didn't want to move that day as we didn't really have time and relly tired. The next day they still didn't fix the issue or allow us to change our room. We had to make scene at the lobby to get them to change our room at 10-11 pm. The next room didn't have any problems and was significantly larger then the other one. It was the single worst stay I had especially compared the other ibis hotels

We completely understand how uncomfortable and frustrating it must have been to deal with standing dirty water while trying to shower. This situation is far below the standards of comfort, cleanliness, and maintenance that we aim to provide to all our guests. We are also very sorry that your concerns were not resolved promptly after you reported them to our team. Regardless of room availability or technical staffing limitations, your issue should have been handled with much greater urgency and professionalism. We fully understand your disappointment, especially after having to repeatedly request assistance over multiple days and ultimately needing to escalate the situation at the lobby late at night before receiving a room change. It is equally concerning to hear about the significant difference between the first and second rooms. Your comments about the size and condition of the original room compared to the replacement room have been noted carefully and will be shared directly with both our maintenance and front office management teams for immediate review. Please know that this experience does not reflect the level of service associated with the Ibis brand, nor the experience we want any guest to have. We deeply regret that your stay became one of the worst hotel experiences you have had, particularly because you have previously enjoyed stays at other Ibis properties. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us, as it helps identify areas where we must improve both our maintenance response procedures and guest service communication. We are currently reviewing this matter internally to ensure similar situations are handled much more efficiently in the future. Once again, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, frustration, and discomfort caused during your stay. Well located, comfortable room, friendly, helpful and smiling personnel. The only negative thing: the shower drain was not working properly.

The hotel is 1 min walk from the train station, conveniently located near all amenities. There is some work behind the hotel, but I couldn't hear it. The seafront is 10mins walk. The airport is around €12, and the taxi rank is right outside the hotel.
