The hotel staff exceeded all expectations for a five star hotel. Everyone from the concierge desk to the hotel phone operator were attentive to every detail. Prior to the trip I requested that flowers be placed in the room for my wife and the arrangement was magnificent. A special shout out should go to Chloe McGrugan who made sure that arrangements for gifts delivered to our room for a birthday celebration were communicated with the rest of the staff. When I called the desk operator to follow up on anything we discussed the notes were logged and whom ever I spoke to knew exactly what was needed. The concierge was knowledgeable about local attractions and if they were not they did the research and provided the information later. Amazing! The room was fantastic but the jacuzzi tub drain could use a little bit of maintenance. When the tub is full, the water pressure does not allow the drain spring to stay open to release the water. The user must hold it open manually for the water to flow. This issue would not be known with only a visual inspection. Another positive highlight was The Botanist restaurant, a special shout out should go to our waiter Jared. One of the best waiters we've ever had. He was knowledgeable about the food and a pleasure to speak with, never too long winded but just enough to make you feel at home and have a quick laugh between bites. His suggestions for things to do in the city were spot on! The Giovanni coffee shop staff kept us coming back for more Mochas. The lobby lounge area is another convenient and attractive spot to get out of the room and enjoy drinks, sushi and good vibes at night. This was an unforgettable experience that was worth every penny. Thank you.

The hotel is well located and luxurious, but the guest experience fell short of my expectation... it was an ordeal to get my checkout extended by one hour. My guest room was somewhat noisy located next to an ice machine and the pool area entrance. The patio gate to the pool fell off its hinges when opened and the pool is situated so that it was in the shade from 10am - until checkout at 1pm when I visited in late May. For me the pillows on the bed were too large and puffy to be comfortable. Some of these are minor concerns, and I will note the staff are very attentive and the hotel itself is beautiful.
