I want to tell the staff here that your treatment of us was so amazing from everywhere we stopped whether it was the lounge lobby, the bellhop, the front desk or those that were cleaning/turn down our room really really amazing service so grateful to have stayed at the Fairmont, Pacific Rim

Customer service was superior however we were put in a room that faced the convention center and it was extremely loud at all hours of the night. We had requested a city facing view instead as we knew there were events at the conference center that would cause alot of noise.

You should have been able to rest without interruption and we should have been more attentive in assigning a room that supported your comfort, especially knowing there were events at the convention center. I'm a very loyal Fairmont guest. I am a Platinum loyalty member and despite there being availability for the lowest level of suites when I booked, I was told I couldn't use my suit night upgrades ("no"). Upon check-in, I asked how my complimentary breakfast worked on the weekends - I was told "no" i couldn't use my member benefits. After pulling up my benefits, which stated complimentary breakfast on the weekends, the team really dug in and tried to come up with ways to not honor it, eventually telling me that's only the case in Asia-Pacific - that's not true. Platnium members in Asia-Pacific receive complimentary breakfast all week... and other North American Fairmont Properties (e.g., The Plaza in NY) honor this on the weekend (as stated in the benefits). I then asked where the lounge was, given I had complimentary lounge access... again the answer was "no", it's a Gold lounge and it'sfor Diamond status only - I can see it says that in the member benefits but there isn't any other lounge at the property... and I'd been shut down for all other benefits. This is the service I received after explaining to the team at the Pacific Rim that I was on a 24 hour trip with my Pregnant wife to have a relaxing 24 hours away from our two other kids, before our third child arrives. The lack of accommodation was really not cool for a loyal guest like myself... even if this location itself doesn't offer some of these benefits to Platnium members (only Diamond), the lack of flexibility and effort to do anything to make it better was bad. It really makes me want to find another hotel chain to stay with for all of my work travel. Really disappointing experience.
