The rooms were very clean however the first room we were allocated had a very chemical smell/aroma which was uncomfortable, after contacting the reception and explained the situation we were allocated another room which had a much fresher smell (mint and cucumber) and it was much more bearable when in the room. The receptionist did explain the smell as a product that is used for cleaning the rooms. The room was comfortable and met our needs perfectly and the bathroom was exceptionally clean.

Great sleep and nice stay. I will say the entrance smells like air freshener, and not in a good way. It's overwhelming and kind of disgusting. The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable. The bathroom was clean and nice, but it would have been nice if the bathroom had a fan. I'm happy we were on the 5th floor, because I'd feel bad with how loud the music at the bar was for everyone below us. We could barely hear it, but I'm sure the closer rooms could. Also, casting to the TV should be simpler in a hotel. It's much easier in other places I've stayed.

Overall good. Surprised there isn’t a room fridge. VERY small room. Vicinity is a bit dirty and LOTS of homeless people. We like the window open but there’s lots of drunken noise at night plus sirens, trucks beeping etc

The room was clean, and the beds very comfortable. The location was good in respect of shops and bars close by. The problem was the nightclub across the way. The hotel is not soundproof at all, so although the beds are comfy, the music from the nightclub prevents any sleep until after 3am

i had another booking fall thru, so at the last minute, i used hotwire to book this hotel, i wasnt sure where i would be staying. The location made me a bit nervous, and the parking options were less than desirable. Once inside the hotel i was pleasantly surprised how pulled together it was. The room was lovely, but the forced air smelled horrible, like old nasty antique basement air. We turned it off and left the window open for most of our stay. Staff were amazing, always offering something to make the visit better.

Hotel not on the greatest street on first appearances but very close to Yale town which is good. Hotel renovated nicely, we had a suite but was still quite small but nicely furnished and clean. Little disappointed at check in. We arrived at 9.30am didn't expect the room to be ready but thought it would be done quicker than 5 hours. We thought being a platinum member might have had a bit of discretion getting in slightly earlier. Breakfast was included but definitely not a 4 star Hotel standard. If Breakfast is youre thing chose elsewhere. Little choice and every morning something had ran out or not there at all. No cereal except children's cereal. No museli , granola bircher. Toaster kept fusing the power, plates, t bags cups all ran out and this was not just 1 day happened over the whole 3. Staff nice and friendly. Mornings chaotic as only 1 lift and everyone trying to get down for breakfast whilst the room service people are using the lift for their big linen carts. Maybe placing linen earlier or the night before on the floors would work better. Hard on the staff too trying to do a job.
