Overall, our stay was quite disappointing and fell well below our expectations. The photos on the Accor website are misleading and do not accurately reflect the hotel’s current condition. Breakfast is served in a dark, dingy pub, which is a stark contrast to the bright and inviting space shown in the Accor App photo labeled as breakfast. The rooms were extremely cramped, and one of ours had a strong, unpleasant odor. We asked to change rooms, but unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked. Likewise, the included breakfast was also very poor. The eggs were cold and slimy, the coffee tasted burnt, and the fruit was served in some sort of syrup yet was still completely tasteless. The included welcome drink was simply a can of pop rather than a cocktail or mocktail, which was another disappointment. The staff were friendly and pleasant, but unfortunately, that could not make up for the overall experience. Given the price and the reputation associated with the Accor brand, we expected a much higher standard. We would not stay here again and would not recommend this hotel.

We really appreciated the early check-in after a 13.5hr flight. Our king room was wonderful. We were so pleased that it was not located on the main road frontage and it was quiet. The hotel staff were friendly courteous and helpful. There were only two small things we were a little disappointed with. 1. The entry to the hotel up the steps lugging suitcases was quite challenging. 2. The buffet breakfast was not enjoyable particularly the hot food, which was almost cold when we arrived. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel advertised online versus the reality are different. The ‘restaurant’ does not exist, and is solely the Shamrock which is available for a very poor quality buffet breakfast. The location is in a loud and nightlife heavy area - you feel it as soon as you walk out the front door. It is also nothing like sister hotels in these brands within the MGallery range.

Great location for sightseeing. In the middle of Vancouver, close to Canada Place and Granville (which are on opposite sides on the downtown). Very friendly staff. Comfortable and spacious room, although quite nosy. Loud ventilation and some ice machine or something like that doing the noise at night. Very poor breakfast. It was the first time ever that after two days we decided not to go for breakfast anymore. Breakfast is served by adjacent "Irish-bar". The selection is none, no vegetables and fruits, it's very dark and the service is really bad and not the most friendly. Food is also of poor quality, we felt old used oil from the previous day. Good location and spacious room was great, so all in all was not bad, but would not stay again.

Friendly, hard-working staff in this newly renovated boutique hotel. Staff were not knowledgeable about services in the surrounding area E.g. laundromats, relying only on Google etc. This reflected my guest experience that the management are looking to maximise revenue from the renovation but the guest experience does not match the price point E.g. absence of local knowledge around the hotel. Acknowledgement of guest loyalty status was grudging at best, and felt as if the staff thought this was 'quirky' and something to which they had to pay lip service to, but didn't really care about or know why they were expected to care about it. Last, beyond the hotel's control, but the property is not far from skid row. Needle paraphernalia in the alley near the entrance and homeless people and drug users are to be expected. I would not recommend this hotel to my relatives for this reason, again acknowledging that this reason is outside the hotel's control.

Very welcoming and helpful reception staff, and very nice rooms. A lovely hotel but I was less keen on its immediate surroundings - quite a busy, lots of drug users (although no trouble just sad to see right outside the hotel door). Useful location to use as a base for exploring the city.

We stayed for a 4-night trip to BC for vacation. It was a great hotel in a very convenient location. We brought our dog with us. While there isn't a lot of green space for a dog in the immediate vicinity, it's just a few blocks walk to Stanley park and the Davie neighborhood, which is a great place to walk a dog. It was also very convenient for our interests - near the museum, a 25-minute walk to Gas Town, an easy walk to the waterfront and Stanley park. There are lots of restaurants and bars nearby, and there was a surface parking lot next to the hotel, which made it easy to park our car and leave it for the duration of our stay. It was a great time, and we will stay with Hotel Belmont again.

We received a welcome drink as we arrived which was cold and refreshing. The room was small and the bathroom does not have a fan. The bed was comfy. No views of anything nice. Our first night it was quite loud at 12-1am with slamming doors and odd noises. It woke us both up. Didn’t try the breakfast but it’s and add on.
