We stayed for two nights on the weekend after Christmas. Our room was quite small, but comfortable and stylish. There was no view out of our window, which was frosted glass, so that contributed to a cave-like experience. While the interior hallways and rooms were stylishly designed, the lobby and exterior felt a bit tacky. The exterior is painted a deep pink, which clashed with the bright yellow signage. It is not an elegant choice. While we were there, the lobby was decorated for Christmas which artificial garlands - again, not an elegant choice. We paid around $700 Canadian for the two nights, which felt high for a small room.

Once inside you'll be mezmorized by the funky clock behind the check in desk, staffed by sincere and kind people. They'll carry your bags up the entry way steps, guide you through checkin and help set you up with parking in the lot next door. Once in your room, you'll enjoy the clean and trendy decor, the fun vibe and the comfy bedding and pillows (they'll be a few surprises too). Nespresso coffee pods and tea available, and easily restocked if you just ask. Sink, shower area and closets all clean and perfect for a couple nights stay. Safe in bed pedestal drawer. Belmont Hotel isn't opulent, if you're looking for that, book elsewhere. If you like Indigo type hotels, this one is for you. Give it a try.
