I love your hotel but I feel it is a bit over priced. A particularly gratuitous money grab is the good but expensive breakfast buffet where the coffee is an added charge - other than the deliberately crap brew in the flasks. Many hotels have a similar charge on barista made coffees, but every other one has a midrang option of a machine made coffee. Not barista quality but also not the much in the flasks. Also I want to commend your young staff. Positive and friendly and getting stuff done. In particular, apologies I forget their names, but the young fellow who I have met a few times in the evening who is I understand a trainee studying in Taranaki. And the young gentleman who took my coffee order so diligently. Both a credit to you.

I stayed the night here for convenience. My partners flight home was early hours of the morning. So I checked in with the kids (they gave the children free toy kiwis on check in which they loved) while my partners flight came in around 2.30am he collected room key when he arrived in, no issues and got to the room without me having to go down with the baby and child to get him. Room was beautiful, we were able to watch the planes take off and land! Room service there was a robot delivering the order (although I missed it not being able to hear it with baby crying) I got my food in the end and was a good experience. The morning of checkout, we went for the buffet breakfast, which is a must! Amazing food, plenty of options to choose from. Staff there was also very accommodating at showing us around the buffet since it was our first time, just very welcoming. Apon leaving, my boy left his cuddly behind in reception and while we were driving home we got a phone call and the lady was amazing and is posting it back to us. 10/10 stay. We will be back, partner already wants to book another night! Truely loved the experience, the staff, atmosphere, and hospitality of the whole stay. We didn’t leave with one negative note. Thank you 🤩

check in was great, very helpful staff. room was clean and comfortable. went up to the restaurant for coffee and food. decided not to eat as the restaurant was under staffed so there was a long wait to be served and then again to pay. many tables empty but still had dirty dishes on them for the 60 minutes we were there.
