Overall our stay was excellent, the only small comment we would make was that the drinking water dispenser on our floor was out of action.

We had an early flight to the UK so decided to stay at the Novotel the night before our flight. It worked so well, the hotel is located so close to the airport it was just a short walk from arrivals and departure gates. The staff at check-in were friendly and very helpful making checking in a breeze. We were very happy with our room it was very clean and well laid out with everything we required for our overnight stay. Just after we got in the room we found the coffee machine to be faulty, we called the front desk and within a few minutes a member of staff came to our room checked the machine confirmed it was faulty and replaced it straight away. We have stayed at some 5 star hotels in Singapore and not had this level of customer service. Later in the day we went to the restaurant for a meal and a glass of wine. our meal was very good and the choice of options on the menu was great. It was our first visit to Novotel at Christchurch Airport and it will not be our last. Just a suggestion would it be possible to purchase or provide the option to get a small carton of real milk at the hotel, the small milk pods provided spoil the taste of the coffee and tea options provided.
