We booked a package including breakfast which was good. We also had dinner there three nights, that was nice except for my husbands pan fried fish on the second night which he did not enjoy - it tasted funny. Our room was comfortable, there was an intermittent rumbling noise from above it during the night but apart from that it was good.

I have stayed many times over the past few years. Over that time I have noticed the decor getting a little tired and the cleaning standards starting to drop. In particular, the issue of en suite toilets not flushing has never been fixed which is a significant reason why I haven't rated the hotel higher. However, it's good value, beds are comfortable, and staff are always helpful.

My partner and I are in the over 65 year age bracket, who don’t usually stay in the central city and are a little anxious about the availability of suitable parking. The reception staff were very understanding and reassuring and allowed us to check in early to secure parking. The evening supervisor, Ash, even escorted us back to our car, late on Saturday night, to retrieve my partner’s asthma medication- this was very much appreciated

Four night stay in a double room. Positives: location was amazing, bed large and comfy, room quiet, reception staff really helpful and lovely Less positive: the room was very small with very limited storage; clean but a bit tired looking; bathroom was super cramped; room cleaning erratic. Found the bed a little hard but that’s just my taste. Overall good. Loaded fries (without bacon) room service were ok but needed salt, pepper and a sauce 🤣

The hotel is centrally located. The rooms are clean. The accommodation is compact. Nice cafes and restaurants nearby. The staff are client orientated. Value for money.

Was on a work trip so queen room and above would’ve been more ideal compared to double room after reading reviews on google.

Super place to rest our heads after a big night and we even took the time to enjoy a beverage in the lobby before our outing with our teenage sons and friends which was awesome!

I already stayed here twice and my experience had always been pleasant. Rooms, though small, were designed to maximize the available space. Booth rooms I stayed in were very clean. That's the most important for me. The staff, I would say all of those that I approached, were all very friendly and helpful. I hope they keep up that standard. It will be my go-to hotel when in Christchurch.

Less spacious room and poor air circulation was the one drawback I saw. Less space to take shower and I hit my elbow few times. Otherwise staffs and breakfast was so good.
