The reception was welcoming and as we arrived and hour early we were able to get in our room then which we were grateful for. The room was lovely, peaceful, great views over the lake and quiet. I neglected to request a ground floor room due to my husband's heart condition so we three flights of stairs it was a bit more taxing than we anticipated. The restaurant staff were lovely and it was in a lovely setting. The food was good.

Well the outlook from our room which was in a 2 level townhouse was wonderful. But we were disturbed by the people in the room above us thumping around at 1am in the morning. Not much noise insulation between floors. Also there is a nasty speed hump just prior to driving up to reception which my very low vehicle bottemrd out on. There is no good reason for this speed hump to be there at all and should be removed. other than that a very enjoyable stay.

With regards to the hump, this is a speed bump put in place to reduce the speed off vehicles coming into the courtyard. The path links the front 9 and back 9 of the Golf Couse and therefore is used by a lot of pedestrians. The speed bump was put in place due to a speeding vehicle and a nasty incident involving a pedestrian a couple of years ago.
