Great location and surroundings. It’s a shame owners have not even undertaken simple inexpensive maintenance such as replace non working blinds. Other upgrades required include furniture replacement and stains in curtains. Also very simple housekeeping. CHECK the soap containers. Only takes one press.

The staff in the Restaurant and Bar were excellent. Friendly and welcoming, they made our dining experience in the Restaurant and a couple of days later in the Bar lovely.It was nice to see staff there from our previous trip last year. Thanks to the kitchen staff as well. We were happy with the location of our room. However, it does need maintenance. The shower head, where it connects to the hose was gushing our water. We tightened it but it needs the washer replaced. Our bed was lovely and comfy.. The kitchen cupboards look tired and I didn't appreciate having to get down on my hands and knees to get crockery. I have never experienced this before anywhere and it was hard work! The fan in the downstairs toilet was not working.

- During check-in even though we booked for three people and received confirmation of our booking for three people, the staff said that we were only booked in for two people. It was eventually sorted, and the hotel staff need to give us another room on the first floor to accommodate three people. This was frustrating as we wanted a ground floor room, which is what we originally booked, as we did not want to carry our bags to the first floor. - The room we got seemed very outdated and required maintenance. - We requested a shower cap, and was told that due to the holidays, they did not have any and would only receive it after we left. - Staff were very friendly. The bed we got was comfortable. Location was amazing.
