The studio was warm and comfortable, with peaceful views overlooking the lake and the golf course. Peppers Clearwater is a great spot to have a quiet stay. The golf course is supurb as well.

Kia Ora Paul, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback following your recent stay at Peppers Christchurch Clearwater Resort. I am pleased to hear you found your stay peaceful overall. I also appreciate you highlighting the cleanliness of the room and the positive aspects of your experience. At the same time, I am sorry to hear about the maintenance issues you experienced with the spa bath and bathroom blinds in Room 2021. I also appreciate your feedback regarding the kitchen setup and the limited dessert bowl provided. Please be assured these matters have been shared with our maintenance and housekeeping teams for immediate follow up. I am also sorry that the dinner menu did not meet your expectations. Your comments regarding the menu range have been passed on to our Food and Beverage team as we continue reviewing our offerings and guest preferences. We are currently in the process of refurbishing our rooms, and all kitchenware items are scheduled to be replaced this month as part of these improvements. We are confident these updates will further enhance the guest experience moving forward. We value your feedback as it helps us identify areas where we can improve the guest experience. This resort was ideal for us given the location and the ample room size. We were three adults sharing the suite, the staff were very prompt in replying to my emails prior to our stay. Although this property is dated and needs some renovations, overall we were happy with the suite and our stay. The lighting was very dim in the kitchen /.dining room, a few lights were inoperative (also the extractor fan light wasn’t working). We were fortunate enough to get the staff to send maintenance to replace two lights that were not working during our stay. A lovely staff member was very apologetic for the inconvenience caused when our room had not been cleaned and the lighting issue. I think his name is Donghoon, he is a credit to the team and an asset to the resort. In the bathroom, the shower was fantastic - great pressure and nice and hot. The only issue we encountered was the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were fixed to the wall over the bath making it difficult to reach, particularly for my 80 year old mother who is frail. It would have been better if it was fixed to the wall closer to the shower. My sister and I loved our daily walks around the resort, there were plenty of tracks to explore (The Groynes), lots of wildlife, nature - birds, swans, ducks and pukekos. We also enjoyed a drink at the bar with food, the bar snacks were delicious. I would stay here again.

I think charging $30 per night to park overnight..but during the day its free..is unacceptable. The cost of a room is expensive for a hotel with NO dining room and access to check in with a car is almost impossible unless a free space street side. Even access into the rear car park is difficult with illegally parked cars in the narrow entrance and delivery trucks etc
