I recently travelled from Brisbane to Auckland and hired a vehicle during my stay. While I found the hotel and its services to be of a high standard, I was disappointed by the lack of on-site parking or any convenient nearby parking arrangements for guests. As a result, I was required to use Auckland Airport parking at a cost of **$48 per day**, which added a significant and unexpected expense to my trip. Given the hotel's location and the number of guests likely to travel with rental vehicles, I believe there is an opportunity to improve the guest experience by offering discounted parking, a parking concession, or a shuttle service to a more affordable parking facility. On a positive note, the **restaurant and room service teams were exceptional**. The staff were friendly, professional, attentive, and consistently delivered excellent service, which was a standout aspect of my stay. While I enjoyed many aspects of the hotel, the parking situation was a major inconvenience and will be an important factor in my decision when considering future stays. Addressing this issue would significantly enhance the overall guest experience and complement the excellent service provided by your team.

Had a wonderful stay here. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, with a comfortable King bed that made for a great night's sleep. The rooms were also very quiet and didn't hear other guests moving around. Staff were friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out, always happy to offer local tips. The location is fantastic too — easy walking distance to the city centre and plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Christchurch!
