I love IBIS for their good value and well laid out hotel. For the size, the rooms are very comfortable and well organised. There is a very useful table which can even hold a small auxiliary monitor if you travel with one - like I do. Outlet number is sufficient. A nice suitcase area by the door. Bathroom is smallish but well laid out. Good shower. I spent a week with my wife suitcases, duffle bags and bag packs. It was super.

I'm not the complaining type, but since you ask, $199 on a Monday night in the middle of winter in Christchurch for a cramped shoebox room is extortionate. I only paid it because I thought breakfast was included. There was no breakfast. The blankets are paper thin and even though I had the room temperature high, I found I needed to put my jacket over myself to stay warm. I won't be returning or recommending the hotel to anyone.
