Overall our experience was ok, but was marred by the behaviour / attitude of the bar manager and to a lesser degree the reception staff on the evening / night shift

Great location, really friendly and helpful staff. Bit disappointed that we were allocated a disabled room especially as we had booked over 12 months previously. The lady on reception changed our room for us. Parking at the hotel is ridiculously expensive and you can't precooked as its on a first come first served basis which is not helpful after a long drive.

The hotel looks better after renovation, but front staff need additional training.

At the time of checking out I advised several times that I had a breakfast just before and it needs to be charged together with the stay. It was ignored or not understood by the young lady (English is not her first language?) who prepared my invoice. I have been given an invoice for my overnight stay only. When I arrived home I found out about 2 separate charges to my visa card. One for the hotel stay and another one for my breakfast. No invoice has been given or emailed me for the breakfast . I had to pay for it from my personal pocket as the breakfast cost could not be claimed from my employer due to missing invoice from the hotel. It is disappointing. I should not pay for the incompetence of the hotel staff. If issue like that happens the hotel should cover the costs and ensure proper training of the front staff. Thanks.
