It was a warm winters day - we checked in to our room which was very warm. I had my 6 month old son with me. We turned the air con on and went out for the day. When we got back the room was incredibly hot. We spoke to reception who sent someone up. They turned off the air con and said that it was changed to be a heater centrally, and that the temperature dial wouldn’t make a difference. We asked to change rooms they said no and to open a window and it would cool down in 15 minutes. It didn’t, it remained hot all night meaning my baby was waking up frequently during the night. If the heating is controlled centrally, they should have told us in check-in so we could have turned it off before we went out for the day. Also, the staff were not helpful and the shower completely flooded the bathroom

I stayed for three nights while visiting my daughter who lives nearby. The hotel is just 15 minute walk through a park from the bus station. I priced an uber for return journey and it was almost €100! The walk is lovely. Checkout was quick & friendly. We are in bar first evening, there was a problem with our food nyt was dealt with quick & satisfactory. The bar is very expensive the most expensive drinks I came across in all of Brescia! We didn’t eat in the restaurant. There’s two supermarkets is a wonderful Indian restaurant across the road above the supermarket. One of the best I’ve ever eaten in! The room was lovely, modern, spotlessly clean, comfy bed, lots of tv stations and fab view across the mountains. They have ritual shampoos and a complimentary water. The mimi bar is adequately stocked and reasonably priced. Breakfast had lots of choices, replenished throughout and good coffee. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would like to return soon.
