If convenience is a factor, this hotel is the best. Been here twice now. Both times I was greeted by the same guy. I’m willing to give grace, as his English fluency may be the reason for friction at check in. Will give specific interactions and words used if asked. Regarding the battery and charging block you accidentally left behind, we sincerely apologize for missing your initial email. We have since contacted you, responded to your request, and arranged for your belongings to be sent to you by post. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by the delay. We would also like to clarify the situation regarding your reservation for two adults and one child. According to our room accommodation policy, our Standard and Premium rooms are designed to accommodate a maximum of two guests. For three guests, including a child, a Family Room is required. Unfortunately, a Family Room was not available for your requested date. To provide greater flexibility for families, Accor offers a special family arrangement whereby two Standard or two Premium rooms can be booked, with the second room available at a 50% discount. This option comfortably accommodates three guests. We understand that the information displayed during the booking process and the subsequent communication at reception may have caused confusion, and we are sorry that the situation was not explained to you clearly enough. However, once two rooms are booked under this family offer, it is not possible to cancel one of the rooms after check-in in order to pay only for a single room, as both rooms are required to accommodate the three registered guests. Everything is wonderful, except for using Raiffeisen Bank, which operates in Russia and pays taxes there. And it's these taxes that fund missiles flying into Kyiv, forcing the hotel staff to hide in shelters. Also, your website has no Ukrainian language version. Close to the Kyiv Railway Station, it has a shelter (but fortunately I don't know how it looks like and can't say if it has enough space/comfortable/really safe). It looks nice inside, quite modern, clean, has a water cooler on each floor, and has a super quick check-out. There are places to eat nearby (from restaurants to Puzata Hata or McDonald's). For some reason, we had only 1 pair of slippers for 2 people (maybe we could ask, but we didn't want to go back to reception). And it would be great to have additional towels (for hands and/or face) and a kettle for drinking coffee or tea in case of early check-out or late check-in, and when everything is closing.
