Problems with check-in, we spent a lot of time near the reception... Very small room There were no bathrobes, kettle, or cups. It was okay, but a bit uncomfortable.

Truly a no parking hotel. No coffee or tea kettles, no ironing boards or irons for clothes, hallway light sensors work only in certain areas, very dangerous to walk in complete darkness, a common hallway water dispenser works at only a trickle., I suspect the filters are clogged. The restaurant bar is nice. The morning buffet is good, but limited options and the cook cannot or does not know how to make omelets, forget ordering an omelet, just be happy there’s a buffet. Excellent job with converting the basement parking garage into a bomb shelter.

I have stayed at this hotel for a couple weeks now as my business in the city has extended. During that time, welcome drinks are almost always refused to me as a gold member, no snacks or refreshments are available. Hotel staff forces payment each day despite being a gold member with many cards on file. They are almost accusatory, and claim their hotel is "the only one in the city without access to Accor profiles and cards to charge". Additionally, coffee in rooms is often not provided or topped up, cleanings are often not thorough. When I had no coffee in my room, I went to the restaurant to inquire for one. They tried to make me pay, full price, for a basic Americans- while also refusing my welcome drink voucher, laughing at gold member status and telling me "hotel is out of coffee". I'm happy to spend my money when I feel respected. In fact, this is my first Ibis experience(usually choosing 5-star options). Absolutely disgraceful, abysmal customer service here. I'll be sure to tell my colleagues to stay as far away as possible when they come to Kyiv.

The hotel screams for renovation . Everything is old and uninviting. I wouldn’t recommend staying there. This said the shelter is well equipped and they have a decent breakfast.

Extremely disappointing experience. On the day of my checkout, someone unlocked and started opening my room door. When I asked who it was and why they were entering, the response was: “Oh, I’m just checking.” This is a serious violation of privacy and guest safety. A guest could be changing clothes, using the bathroom, or have personal belongings and valuables in the room. Entering an occupied room without permission is completely unacceptable. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone who values privacy and security.

My stay would have been great, if not the situation that happened on my last day, few hors before the checkout. Few men came to my door and told me they need to change the door locks system. I have told them that I am checking out in a few hours and they can do it after. They said they need to finish the floor. I did not agree to them start doing this in my room. I went for a breakfast just to return to my room being fully open and the job started without my consent! All my personal belongings were there and I could not close the door and had men in my room for the next 40 min. This is not just not ok it is UNACCEPTABLE. After I complained about it to the reception they just told me I should have been notified, that's it. No care in the world. Absolutely ruined my mood.

What you described is completely unacceptable and falls far below the standards of service and respect for guest privacy that we strive to uphold. Under no circumstances should work have been started in your room without your explicit consent, especially while your personal belongings remained inside. We are equally disappointed that your concerns were not addressed with the care, empathy, and urgency they deserved when you reported the incident to our reception team. Please be assured that we are investigating this matter internally with both the maintenance and front office teams to understand how such a serious lapse occurred and to ensure that similar situations cannot happen again in the future. We deeply regret that this experience overshadowed an otherwise enjoyable stay and left you with such a negative final impression.
