Kabul L. Solo - Confirmed reviews ALL

I was disappointed starting from check-in. Initially, because the hotel was fully booked, I was given a smoking room, even though I do not smoke and had requested a non-smoking room. I went down to the reception, and the receptionist then gave me a room with a connecting door, room 642, which I had no problem with. She also promised to give me another room the next day. After returning from a long day trip to Magelang, I was assigned a new room, 1132. Unfortunately, the room was very noisy, as it was located next to the emergency exit, and I could hear a constant blower-like sound. I was extremely tired and had no energy to go back to the reception to complain. On the last day of my stay, the receptionist informed me that my breakfast was on the 8th floor, shared with the Grand Mercure hotel. As soon as I stepped in, a staff member {guy} approached me and asked if I was an Ibis hotel guest. I said yes, I could feel he was not nice to me. What made me uncomfortable was that he did not offer me a seat or ask me to choose any available table. Instead, he seemed to closely watch whatever I took, which made me feel very uneasy. I only had some salad, and he already asked me, “Are you finished?” In the end, I left after just 10 minutes. I also took some noodles but did not finish them because I felt so uncomfortable with the situation. I will think twice to stay in these hotels
