The location is great, just a walking distance to Malioboro. This considered, there will be some noise from the street coming in. I was upgraded to family room, which I greatly appreciated. It comes with a balcony, which unfortunately have poor sound insulation and resulted in a lot of noises at night. This aside, the experience was great. Bed was great, AC was very very sufficient, and the team was great. Would definitely stay again.

The room was infested with ants, which was unbearable, and the whole room was also very old.

Good location and comfortable stay. Bed was comfortable (although not exactly good-smelling) and the room was clean and spacious. Good water pressure in bathroom. Good selection of food for breakfast buffet. Lobby staff nice and helpful. Water stations available on each floor. Cold AC. Hotel near Malioboro and near train station as well. Something to improve: elevators only 2 and quite small. Happened to stay during holiday and there was a huge group of tourists with me, and they would enter and exit hotel at the same time resulting in a long queue (these people did not even know how to queue properly and would just cut in front of me just because they knew the person in front) Can also improve availability of vegetarian/vegan dishes during breakfast. Usually quiet but if next door decides to talk out loud or bang their stuff you’d really hear it well. One night, the next door was packing their things and I could hear them talking and fixing their stuff, I was so close to calling reception for help.
