I stayed with family for one night but the experience is long term. I enjoyed the stay. Very recommended to stay without driving. Problem is parking area is limited and Malioboro street is always crowd. Other than that I will stay again with Novotel Suites.

So disappointed with the check-in process from the front desk team because the room was not available yet. Plus inconvenience & unhelpful from the frontline team - difficulty to get a car-parking space and to access to the hotel lobby because they allowed a driver to park the car literally in front of the lobby on the opposite direction which blocks other guests to drive in and out and at that time after check-out; I was in a hurry to get to the airport and almost late because of the waiting. But two-thumbs up for the food and beverages team (during breakfast).

I am sorry that we could not accommodate early check in for both of the rooms due to increase in hotel occupancy recently. Your experience related to the blocked access to exit the drop off area due to another car that was having a flat tire and needed change has been shared to our security team to be made inquiries into, hoping that such issue will not happen again in the future. We really enjoy our stay in Novotel Suites Yogyakarta Malioboro. All is good, nice, and well done. The check in and check out procedures are, the finest. However, I got some suggestions: 1. Please ask a room boy to follow us when entering the hotel room for the first time. Ask him to explain all the features of the room in detail (well, not all hotels' room features works the same) as well as where we can find towels, mats, safes etc. In our experience, we didn't find a mat in our room, and we had to ask by phone (and then the mat delivered by the room service). I also couldn't wear the slippers provided by the hotel because they were too small. So I think a room boy as a companion will be very helpful when first entering the room, with or without being asked to bring the luggage. 2. The coffee! Yes, the 10th floor coffee shop's open hour is way too late. I wish I can sip a cup of hi-quality coffee (yes, you got that on your 10th floor coffee shop by the pool) in the morning just after breakfast hour. But, unfortunately, I have to wait until 11 pm (an hour before check out) just for a cup of joe. The coffee served in breakfast, not good at all, as well as in the room. 3. The most challenging activity while I stayed in Novotel is: vaping. Yes, this is awful. I'm unable to vape at all in my room or in the corridor or anywhere else in the whole floor. I got to drag my self to the 10th floor just to enjoy my vape. Yes, I know, I choose non-smoking room. But as you know, vape is totally different from cigarette (smoking). I suggest you made available the vaping room at least somewhere on every floor, or you can just make it possible for vapers to vape in the hotel room, since it's not harmful and not as smell as cigarettes. Overall we have a very nice experience with Novotel. And yes, I'll recommend Novotel to our colleagues, family members, and friends. Thank you. Kindest regards, FW Barma

According to Accor ALLSAFE guideline during the COVID-19 pandemic, guests requesting bell service will be assisted and the bell cart will be sanitized after each guest is assisted. Luggage delivery for check-in and pick-up for checkout, is possible only in front of the guest’s room. No entrance into the room is allowed. However, we can still assist to explain the room functions from the door. Thank you for also highlighting the 10/10 pool bar opening hour and dedicated area for vaping. We will look into the possibilities to improve our level of services and facilities to better meet the needs of our guests. It would be a pleasure to personally welcome you back soon. Stay safe! Bad services event the duty manager already now that we are member platinum accor, they keep say already do the best but they only upgrade me 1 room from 2 room that i booked, welcome drink only give once and don't have executive lounge , they give me 2 room with smoking room only treat with ozone but the smoke smell is still have and the sliding door is jammed and the staff is no polite serve us with no choice they dont treat me well as platinum member , i am so dissappointed when i inly request late check out until 2-3 Pm , duty manager keep call me check out at 12:30pm , i've never treat like this, they don't want know about my parents need bed for take a rest before we go back to Semarang by car and my 2 childreen is still have online class. The duty manager keep call me to move into 1 room , i can't imagine how can they treat platinum member like that???? We pay expensive for the member fee !!!! Please treat us well!!! For you now the room have many mosquito and the pillow smell bad , no pillow cover protection , there is smell somebody sweat smell no good, and the towell smell no good and can not absorb water hotel changed the brand of the towell from accor standard dan the pillow too !!!! They think they still have many customer from goverment project and keep arrogant. And goverment project give their employee for free so nobody complain , but we are platinum member pay the cost for membership, please consider and apreaciate platinum member !!!!

When we booked the room, we requested twin bedroom, but we got king size bed. Then, there was no amenity in the bathroom. We asked receptionist for it, after few hours later, came a bootle of shampoo. Really? Do you guys take shower using shampoo. The next day, there was still no liquid soap in the bathroom, we asked again to receptionist, and do you want to guess what I got? A bootleg of lotion and conditioner. #sigh I gave up! So, I bought the soap in the mall, in the supermarket located in the basement of Malioboro mall. Overall, not so good experience.

my kids very happy stay at novotel, their school online at the rooms. Kitchen set is so completely, so helping me staycation with 3 kids. so lovely stay at this hotel.

Good location, but not well upkeep hotel and dirty room

Location is good. But the hotel room is definitely not up to standard. Towels were old, they didnt throw away the trash. They also didnt vaccum the carpets so there leftover small pieces of food on the carpet. The state of the room is also definitely not novotel standard, some parts of the room were rotten and the walls have dents

Hotel located at the heart of Malioboro which is very great, however, we were not aware that there will be a road closure on that particular night and we had trouble trying to go back to hotel after eating out for dinner. The Hotel should informed us about this and provide us with map of alternate route in advance. Overall this hotel is really great, brand new, very clean, I like the little pantry with microwave in the hotel, with current covid situation, I can re-heat food before consuming it.

Usually accor always send confirmation email for me about my booking and if I have a special request or not and it's rare for me not to get one. I did get a WhatsApp text message and asked about my reservation in the morning. They have a special desk for special accor membership, which is not available in every accor hotel. We arrived around 1 pm but the room is not ready and we went out to grab some lunch and around 2 pm we returned and the room is not ready yet. They surprised us by upgrading our room, which is really great things from them. The minus thing that we found when we entered the room, there were an open vanity kit on the carpet, probably from previous guest and the cleaner might miss it. It's located next to malioboro mall and I could give 5 stars for the location. It's really close with center of the crowd (malioboro street) but for sure you could a quite and a nice rest in here. Variety of breakfast was less than what I expected in a suite hotel.

Thank u for ur best services to me. I've got great experiences stay in this hotel. Friendly and helpful staffs, great and spacious room. I like the rooftop facilities, pool, bar, live music. Great breakfast too. But if i can give a sugestion, u have to make over the parking rule, so confusing and i think it little bit dangerous with two way path.

The staffs in here are very friendly, and they following the safety protocol really strict. The room is very spacious and very good if travelling with children, they can provide a baby crib. The bed is really comfy and big. The only problem in this hotel is parking area as they only provide basement with narrow space and only one way to go in or out.
