This is my 3rd time staying in Mercure Adisucipto and become the worst one. First i appreciate for the room, the room was clean and great as usual, but unfortunately the services for this stay is very unpleasant for me. I stayed in Mercure Adisucipto in order to try to get elite member from accor by staying at least 10 nights in Accor's properties, but i think i'll consider it again. I requested early check-in at 13.00 and i did the online check in before, but unfortunately i just managed to get to hotel at 14.05 (normal check-in time). Directly after arrived, i went to reception to be checked in, but receptionist told me that non-smoking king bed room is not ready yet and asked me to wait for 15-20 minutes. At first it was okay for me, but i had to wait longer than that circa 40-60 minutes before i got checked in. The issue is not over yet, in order to be checked in i had to ask the receptionist twice before they handed me my room-key, if i didn't ask them twice maybe i had to wait longer (there was no compensation for it). Accidently while my stay in mercure, i had a little injury while shaved my beard. I want to call the room services and receptionist but there was no clear explanation in room or nearby the room telephone how to call them. So i went out from my room and fortunately there was room servicer who cleaned the several room next to me, i asked him to got me first aid and i had to wait 20-30 minutes before i got one. At the end of my stay, i wanted to ask late checkout at 13.00, but the receptionist only permited mento stay until 12.30 due to hotel policy. It was absolutely fine, but the problem was, i had to use my own phone to called the receptionist because i still didnt know how to call receptionist using hotel room telephone. (there was no clear explanation how to reach receptionist or room services, if there was any it was really hard to find it cause me myself couldn't find one even i had check every shelf).

My feedback: 1. Need a long time for check in because the staff was always misunderstanding with the bed type chosen by us. We booked 2 king bed and 1 twin bed but the staff always understood that I wanted 2 twin bed and 1 double bed. Need 20-30 minutes just only for check in. I thought that the room was arranged so I can only take the key/card and go to the room. 2. When in room after check in, I was shocked that the king bed was the twin bed that was side by side. 3. The shower room: need to be deep cleaned. I found some black spot/stain at the wall of the shower room. I see also some corrosion at the steel of shower room. It took a bit long if I need warm water for showering. 4. Bathroom: there was some water near WC on the day that I arrive, but the day after it is gone, so ok the staff was cleaning it properly. 5. Bed sheet and bed cover: there was some stain but ok. in the pandemic era, need to improve the cleanliness of the bed sheet and bed cover. 6. Breakfast: so many choices of breakfast. it was great. a bit improvement of the taste would be better. 7. I ordered for the laundry at 7 am, but when I came back to the hotel at 8 pm, the laundry was still not at my room, so need to request to be delivered to my room. It would be better if once the laundry finished, it can be delivered to the room. When delivering my laundry, the staff asked me for laundry payment and I asked to be charged to the room but he said can not because I didn't put any deposit. Well, if it is need for deposit why in the beginning of the check in the staff didn't ask me to put any deposit. If there is no deposit, it should be able to be charged to room and can ask me to pay when I checked out and it's very common and many 5 stars hotel doing this. When the staff asked me to pay, even he didn't bring the EDC. How come he asked me to pay but he didn't bring any EDC. So, take the EDC and come back again to my room, and when the payment process, the paper in the EDC is empty, and he took the paper and come back to my room again. Oh please you have to do the work more efficient in time. 8. The safe deposit box in my room could not be used. At second day on 7 am, I asked the front office about that and he said that he will assign the technician to repair it. But when I came back to my room at 8pm in the evening, it was still can not be used. 9. If there is any small refrigerator so it will be better, instead of coolbox that has been provided. Some of the people need to bring medicine and some of medicine shall be put on certain temperature and require refrigerator. 10. At the check in the staff didn't inform me that if I need something I can call to 0, I was searching for the directory in the room but it is not available. No directory in the room it's ok, but the staff should inform the guest to contact 0 if the guest needs something. 11. The location of the hotel was a very good and easy to find. Near some of shopping malls. 12. I was asked the staff to give me the 2 shower gels since the shower gel in my room was empty, but the staff only give me 1 shower gel and for another one, he wanted to give me the bar soap because he said that the shower gel was out of stocks. How come in the 5 stars hotel, the shower gel was out of stocks. 13. The bed was great. 14. The floor of the room and along the hotel is very clean. Keep it up the good work. 15. It was a very good health protocol before check in to the restaurant for breakfast. And nice view Merapi mountain in the restaurant during breakfast. 16. another drama during check out. I was asking for the receipt, but the staffs said: "receiptnya nanti akan dikasih ke panitia". Which "panitia"? I came to this hotel with my family and with no committee. It will be better for you staff to aware and read in your system which guest are staying with family, friends, colleague or with committee.

We stayed at the grand mercure without any reference. We contacted the reservation directly, with Anefa providing a clear description of our reservation. When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted warmly by the front desk manager Mas Pri. he even offered to carry our bags to our room. Fast service by the front desk is very impressive. The restaurant menu is also varied and delicious. as well as when checkout, again met with Mas Pri and said "See you again, I hope your family is all healthy" I was very impressed.

This is a modern hotel with very detail n meticulous ornamental decoration of candi borobudur. I am particularly impressed at this hotel decoration. Even the pool room where i took my welcome drink is very well decorated.

The hotel actually is good. It's not a new building, but it is maintained quite well. The bed is nice, the aircon work very good and the shower is great also. The problem was with the event that held at the 8th floor on Saturday night (I stayed at the 9th floor). They were performing a live music, very loud music that disturbed my relaxing time with my family. The live music was still performing even after 10PM, and I didn't see any health protocol was being implemented in the event. I wasn't happy at all, the stage was too close to the rooms, really disturbing.

Please prohibit car or bus parking in front of lobby due to obstacle for people who will be dropped off and redesign the room in good shape (I stayed in the executive room where the bathroom improper design)

...but this is not a hotel for a chilly, quite and relaxed weekend. Its a place for conventions, huge events, meetings.... We travelled to Yogyakarta for pleasure, for a long weekend. It was our plan to enjoy the amenities of the hotel as mentioned on the ALL Accor website. Just beside, I am ACCOR member since 12 years and having the Gold Status. The check-in, the room, the gym all OK, but the hotel is just big, just crowded and just uncomfortable. There is not a single spot, where you would like to sit down, relax and may be have a drink. The whole hotel seems and looks like a big waiting room / hall in a train or bus station. Especially the "Bar", omg, a cold looking waiting room, but not a cozy comfortable room where you can enjoy a nice drink or beer. The restaurant is crowded, the design of the restaurant and its furniture, the huge space outside the terrace; who did this?? The whole terrace is a boiling, hot spot without any shadow (same the pool area), just uncomfortable...and most ugly, no room and space for non-smokers. As a non-smoker you have no chance to escape, the whole hotel is focussing on the 90% indonesian smokers. Not nice... Under the line. If you need a hotel due to business trip or to attend a meeting, just for a night, - yes. But for a pleasure time, holiday or long weekend, - a no go. This hotel is nothing for a romantic or relaxed time for 2. Even the extremly helpful and friendly staff, especially the team (including the trainees) of the restaurant, cannot hide the facts of afore mentioned. We checked out already our alternatives for our next stay in Yogyakarta, - our choice will be the "NOVOTEL" or "The Phoenix".

The hotel located near my clients office. The staff very helpful. The MOD (Dina/Rina) help us about our inquiry smoothly and even she find And meet us in the restaurant when we are having dinner. How ever, suggest to improve the internet connection
