This is my first time me and my parents stay at grand mercure Yogyakarta... the first impression when you enter this hotel is the perfume which is very fragrant and I really like it ... then it is welcomed by the friendly staff and the check in process is fast and don't forget bout the room ... it's good and food also yummie

a bit of pros and cons, overall, this is a great hotel. Firstly, in terms of space and when accommodating family vacations especially children I would say that this hotel is child friendly as they have adequate number of activities for children. In terms of breakfast it was overall satisfactory. However, the drawbacks were probably the lifts needs to be handled with care as it can close on you even when you press open. The major concern was with the cleanliness of the room as they were stick on our second day and towels were considered as need to be replaced ASAP as considering the level of 4 star accor hotel it is lacking even compared to the towels in IBIS hotels.

I can honestly say in all my years of staying in many hotels throughout the world this stands out as the best for several reasons. The welcome we received from the team was warm and heartfelt, the room was absolutely flawless and the cleanest room I have ever stayed in. The breakfast team and the breakfast itself were first class. Throughout my stay we felt welcomed and comfortable and it was a sheer joy to spend New Year there. This was a highlight to a rather long trip and I want to thank all of the team at Mercure for making our stay truly memorable.

There are broken lights, safety box wasn't there, but when I complained, they responded very good. Until the last day I found out that the window glass was cracked, that's why I can hear the noise from the road very loud

Staff was very friendly. Even in latenight. Unfortunately my bathroom wasn't well maintained. There were some cracked ceramics and its quite dangerous for my son. The uneven level because of those cracks makes us worry. Afterall, the service is very good. You guys make me feel like home. Keep up the good works

Nothing in the minibar (although I do have the platinum status) and you have to wait minimum 2hours to get something after request The sink drain was stuck There were only 2 towels

Only negative comment - did on-line check in. Still had to go through the normal check-in when arrived so no advantage with on line check in. All the staff were excellent and helpful. Special mention to the trainer at the gym - very helpful. The most enjoyable part of the stay was our short time at the bar - great ambience and the fantastic barmen that are exceptionally great ambassadors of this hotel and the hotel brand. Very attentive and great personalities that are an asset to this hotel.

Booking in last minute via apps and found the rate is higher than usual, maybe it is because of holiday peak season. Compare with my previous stay last year I missed some compliment that I usually got as a platinum member, now they don't have executive lounge for cek in/out and daily tea/coffee, and no employee notice abaut afternoon tea/Tapas that ussualy served in the bar. anyway I Enjoyed my welcome drink a lot because I get the best Espresso Martini, thanks to Mr bartender (sorry I forgot his name) that been worked in Novotel bali for those nice coacktail.

On line check-in did not save any time at all, full check-in still had to be done. Good meet & greet staff and check-in staff. Nice bar that had excellent and friendly bartenders . Excellent rooms and breakfast has many choices.

House keeping hardly replenish toilet paper or dental kit daily even though I stay there for 1 week. I have to call house keeping every day. The TV and the fridge were not working when I checked in; though the problem was fixed pretty fast. The take away breakfast just so so.
