I've stayed at Mercure Sepia before and liked the hotel. On the most recent visit everything was almost as good as expected, except for the internet connection that was practically non-existent. The very weak signal kept getting lost, I couldn't log in to my emails, it took forever to get connected to any portal, so I had to give up on using the wi-fi connection. Fortunately I was in Bydgoszcz only for one night, otherwise it would have been a communications disaster.

Had a great visit here, for an incredible price. Would definitely recommend. Nice, clean, modern rooms with good facilities. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a great central location. We loved it.

This is the sort of place where you'd just book it without question, next time you are there.

The hotel can be reached by tram (4 stops) or foot (16 minutes) from the railway station. It's a wee bit downhill but nothing serious. The location is superb. You are across the bridge from the old town square, and around the corner from the shopping district. The staff were lovely on check in and check out. I should have asked, as I like to keep a record of my stay, but I just received a receipt. The lift is small, but I did not encounter any jams. There might be another one, but I didn't need to ask. My room looked over the Opera. The soundproofing is very good, and I left the windows open anyway, so it can't be too bad on the 4th floor. The room was spotless. I slept like a log. Some of the towels felt brand new, which is always a pleasure. There is a terrace with glorious views on the 4th floor. Service is seasonal, but the views aren't.

The staff were lovely. My room was relatively quiet - I did not mind the rumble of the town outside. The room was well laid out, and had all the amenities I needed. The terrace is a highlight.
