Stayed for 8/9 nights for an athletics competition at the indoor stadium. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are small and would be snug for two. Could do with some shelves for a longer stay to lay out clothes.

The Ibis was very affordable considering its central location near Torun's city. Parking is available, but it is only a 5 minute walk to major tram and bus routes that make traveling across the city and to the Ibis easy on foot (even when pregnant!). The staff were very nice and accommodating and the breakfast buffet was a bit pricy at 35 PLN but there are many options. My only two complaints is that the wifi signal in my room was so low that I had to use my data and that it was a bit noisy in the morning, as one of the other guests made some strange clicking noises that woke me up at 5:30 am. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay.

Unfortunately, the heating in the room did not work. We had to fetch a heater from the reception, but that one didn’t work either. In the end, a security guard brought us a functioning heater. I had not booked an accessible room with an extra bed. Otherwise it wouldn’t have been an issue, but the extra bed blocked access to the desk, there was a urine protector on the bed, and the bathroom floor got wet when using the shower. There was no squeegee available, but we did receive an extra towel. The breakfast room was cramped, and the view from our table was towards the dish washing area, whose door was open. Otherwise the breakfast was good. The hotel’s location is excellent and the price reasonable, as long as everything works. There are certainly rooms in a better location than the accessible room we had.

I stayed in this hotel several times, it was usually very good. This time, the room was not cleaned properly (bad smell in the toilet, clogged shower drain). However, very polite and helpful staff at reception desk makes positive difference.
