Overall, seems not well looked after and managed. Poor atmosphere, busy and hectic. Not fully clean. Was better in 2021 when we were there for a night. Clearly poor value as 160€ is way too much for the total package. Location is not great neither but we knew that … so not complaining. Some facts: - hair on pillow that was not ours, that’s disgusting even if bed looked fresh. Would not have brought up without the other hiccups that unfortunately fit the theme… - breakfast ok but not special, and 15€ on top per person is too much for me what one gets esp incl atmosphere of the space and how it’s managed. - room was not cleaned on the day even though I had put the sign out…new towels were put on top of the toilet seat (!?), else no service at all. Staff apologized (and admitted right staff was not available etc) but this to me is unacceptable. Bad enough the „base“ is now „no service“ and one has to opt in to get the room made up, but when I ask for it I absolutely expect intro be done esp at this room price. So overall disappointing unfortunately as I am a frequent IBIS traveller and esp IBIS Styles and am not used to such circumstances.

+ Excellent rooms with lots of space + Very good breakfast (with a super attentive breakfast lady <3) + Friendly & helpful staff + Pool table & games in lounge + Great public transport connection to the city centre - Parking is complicated if you need more than 2.10m headroom (which we did with a box on top of the car) and you arrive late in the day - French windows (even in bathroom) facing an Aldi parking lot - Kids scared by spiders in room (nothing terrible, but cleaners don't seem to have paid attention to walls & ceilings & behind curtains)

We forgot a pile of chocolates in the fridge. About two hours after we came out of the hotel we wrote an email indicating the problem, my husband called them (they said they would reply). Since then no one has replied. We would have paid to have it sent home, as there were lots of chocolates bought as gifts. No other hotel had this problem.

In a week before arival I booked 4 rooms for group of people with the request to give rooms on the same floor. When we arrived at 15:05 staff at the reception said "we need time to arrange 4 rooms at the same floor (so week was not enough). As a result we were waiting about 1 hour at the reception - this was really unexpected.
