I needed an affordable hotel within walking distance of a railway station, and I found this one. My room was clean and comfortable, the surroundings aren't noisy, and Singen itself is pleasant enough to wander around for a little while before catching my train home.

It seems like nobody cleaned the room between the previous guest and me except for making the bed and changing the towels. There was hair all around, including in the bed, and blood stains in the shower.

Hello Can, thank you for your feedback. I am very sorry that there seems to have been a mistake with the room allocation. You arrived at our hotel in the afternoon. We are available for our guests 24/7. Why didn't you let us know and instead spent the night in a "dirty" room? Why? Good points: The breakfast was very good value - a buffet with quite a bit of choice The air con in the room worked well on a very hot day Singen is well located for visiting the area, and the hotel is only a short walk from the station Less Good Points: The light in the bathroom is on a motion sensor, so if you need to use the bathroom in the night then a harsh white light comes on and fully wakes you up, and anyone else. The lighting and decoration in the room is very utilitarian and all of the lights are too bright. The hotel is half a "Styles" and half a "Budget" and the segregation between the two was a bit strange - with hindsight, I think the budget rooms were not cheap enough for their lack of comfort and i should have booked a room in the Styles part
