Overall I was very satisfied with my stay at the Adelaide Ibis. the only issue occurred when it cam to refunding the $AU "bond" as this was taken from my NatWest bank account and then it seemed for some technical reason the refund then could not be made via my Debt card. after considerable discussion the desk team decided that a payment/refund could be made to my credit card (also linked to my bank account) This means that I will have broken the bank's rule about not having credit on you credit card. to further complicate matters when I was able a few days later able to check my banking app I discovered the refund had actually be put into my bank account!!!! This is the first time as a long time member I have had to pay a bond in this way. It is one thing to take 1$ Au as was done at the Styles Ibis at Melbourne airport a couple of days later, it is another to take and then not be able to refund on the same card a sum as large at $200. Especially as although I did eat in the hotel each night i was told this needed to be a card payment and not to the room, Seemed this was misinformation as well PLEASE get you act together!!!!!

For a couple of nights in the city this was perfect. For a week I'd look for something bigger but this did the job nicely. Location was great, the reception staff were super helpful, the rooms were clean, tidy and modern. I asked for nothing more

The room was nice and clean, the staff were very lovely and helped with any request we asked for. My only downfall was as we had 2 single beds one bed near the wall had no power point near it. But otherwise it was wonderful
