Staff at reception didnt notify us about Parking charges, which was imposed wt the end while billing. When We notified the reception about the same they didnt not take any action. Pullman international charged us for something we were never notified.

Disappointing Stay, Not Worth the Price

We recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, it was a major letdown. For the high price, we expected much more in terms of service and quality. The staff were unhelpful and seemed uninterested in assisting us with even basic inquiries. The pool was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel, but we were disappointed to find that half of it was closed off. Worse, we were asked to leave the pool area without any prior notice due to a private function – very frustrating, especially given that we had no idea this would happen. As for the rooms, the renovations appeared poorly done, with cheap finishes and noticeable flaws. It definitely didn’t left us feeling disappointed with the overall quality. The only positive was the convenient location, but with so many other hotel options nearby, it simply wasn’t enough to make up for the experience. I would NOT recommend this hotel given the price and lackluster service.

There is no doubt the location and view is amazing. Living in cairns for a couple of years in 2013 and coming on holiday I have stayed at this hotel a few times now. Rooms are very outdated, water damaged computer desks as there made of old wood, no furniture on balcony, shower head broken. (Room 1319) on a plus side the staff are friendly, the conference being held there that I attended was great with amazing food, great conference facilities. As a platinum all Accor member I feel that if they are to keep the Pullman name then they need a refurb asap to the rooms and some hallway carpets as well as a damaged pool floor.
