I booked what I believed were two connected double rooms for my family of two adults and one child. Unfortunately, the booking process was unclear about whether this counted as one family suite or whether two family suites needed to be booked separately. As a result, I accidentally ended up booking four rooms instead of two. At check in, the receptionist handled the situation professionally and kindly. She offered us flexibility regarding which rooms to use and even tried to contact management to see whether the two unused rooms could be cancelled or compensated. Her service was good and appreciated. However, after the internal discussion, we were informed that nothing could be adjusted and that we still had to pay for all four rooms, despite only using two. That left a very negative impression. The rooms themselves were acceptable, but there were also technical issues: ; In one room, the air conditioning only worked at 16 degrees or could only be switched off completely. ; In the other room, the lighting was not functioning properly. Overall, not a pleasant experience. The unclear booking setup combined with paying for double the number of rooms needed overshadowed the stay.

As ever, the welcome is warm and genuine. Any issue that may occur is dealt with swiftly and again with kindness. The breakfast is excellent and the staff are so friendly it is a joy to stay at this hotel.
