Dirty stained carpets burned with cigarette, walls stained and dust everywhere. After reporting cockroaches at the reception the response is 'and what i am suppose to do?' Poor customer service. According to the manager 'these are bugs from the trees outside'. This definitely does not reflect the normal standards of a 4 star hotel, never had such a bad experience.

Please be assured that we take such matters very seriously and have implemented elevated hygiene and prevention measures to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests. We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced and will address these concerns with our housekeeping team to prevent future occurrences. Regarding the customer service at the reception, we apologize if the response you received did not match your expectations. Indeed our hotel is surrounded by trees and it is possible, that insects may enter the room through an open window. We are working with a specialized company to avoid those incidents as good as possible. We also want to clarify that our hotel is a non-smoking property, and we will investigate the issue with the stained carpets and walls to ensure a more pleasant experience for our guests. Good 1-Night stay in Mannheim. Unfortunately the Restaurant was closed. also the breakfast was not as good as I expect from other Mercure hotels. the bread roles were below average, and no criossants etc.

Dirty room, full of cigarettes smell, insects in bed

Dirty room - hairs on towels, sticky windows and curtains, unpleasant smell of cigarettes (although for non-smoking clients). In bed and in bedding there are insects called silverfish, they walk also on the walls

I must say that the personal was super friendly the only minus point is that in my room on my side of the bed nexto the wall there was full of dust even a spuderweb on the lamp,for the rest all ok
