Most things were very satisfactory. I am making the following comments to make things better. Having only one seat in a double room and not even a comfortable one. No enclosed cupboard for clothes.

Comfortable and good attention at the reception. However, the room was not well cleaned. Some hair, dust and particles were in the floor and in the toilet.

The front desk staff were helpful in getting us settled into the hotel and provided good help for local sites and questions we had. We plan on visiting Heidelberg again and will definitely consider staying at Ibis again. Breakfast was outside our budget, otherwise the accommodations were great.

The room was small and tight. The 2 single beds didn't leave any room to walk. I had asked for a single occupancy but got a 2 bed room. Bathroom was also extra tight, but was manageable

A convenient and practical hotel, especially for travellers arriving by train. The location directly next to Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof made getting around very easy, with excellent access to public transport and the city centre. The room was clean, comfortable, and serviced daily by housekeeping. The bed was very comfortable, the facilities were very functional (Wifi coped well with early morning video conferencing), and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The breakfast had a good range of cokked/hot and continental options. The room did not have a refrigerator, although this was not an issue for my 4-night stay. I would happily stay there again.

We stayed here for a couple of nights as we had come to Heidelberg to see family. It’s an ideal location as we came by train from the airport. If you don’t want to walk to the centre there is the tram or a bus. The staff were friendly and helpful, we left our luggage with the hotel as we arrived before check in. We had a deal which included breakfast, this was mainly continental with plenty of choice. The only down side is Ibis don’t offer tea or coffee making in your room. We would use this hotel again
