Not a good stay. It is next to the train station which is very convenient but that makes it super noisy. I had a room which will face on the train racks so I would hear during the night the trains passing by. I was difficult to fall asleep. Also i could hear the residents from the other rooms leaving opening and closing their room's door. The breakfast was slightly boring

To expensive. Room smelled of sweat and the drain in the shower was nearly clogged. We did not report this since we stayed just one night and was in need of a hotel on our way back from holiday.

pro: the location is good and the reception is helpful. the price is reasonable. con: the facility is a bit outdated, the bathroom is tiny and you could hardly turn around. we stayed for 2 nights but no one cleaned the room or changed our towels.

Dear Sir / Madam, Hope this message finds you well. I am a long loyal customer of Accor Hotels in last few years (with a break during pandemic). On my last visit to Heidelberg Ibis Hotel, I have reserved a Family room choosing from the app two children that are 2 years and 6 months old. Then, on top, I have put an additional note to state that I will be coming with 2 babies and kindly asking for 2 baby cribs on the room. When I arrived to the hotel, I was told that I have two separate rooms and there is no baby crib available in the hotel. When I asked the reception they told me they do not read the messages from the app and therefore they do not know that I was coming with two babies and they did not see my additional note. Then, after a long discussion with the colleagues, I was given a crib that I carried myself to the room because I was told that there is nobody in the hotel that can support me. At the end, I had to carry the crib to the room by myself and we had to share one bed with one baby and the other stayed in the crib. So, even if I filled the app while reserving the room and also putting a note, I had to spend a night wihout a proper sleep. My question is, why do I use the app to indicate the ages of children and even put a note if these information are not being considered? Why would I be loyal to Accord if my requests are not read and replied if they are not able to be done? If I had received a call or message that the request is not possible to be satisfied I could have reserved another hotel instead of ending up in the hotel finding out there the situation. Overall, after many years, I have questioned my loyalty to Accor since even if I am ready to pay more I am not receiving the very basic level of service I should have to organize our trips. Looking forward to receiving your explanation and more importantly compensation proposal on this point. Thank you very much. Kind regards, Ozgun O.
