Other than the location, I found my overall stay at the hotel to be quite disappointing. One of my main concerns was the level of service provided by the reception staff. I did not find them to be particularly friendly or helpful. For example, as an ALL Gold Member, I called the reception to enquire whether a late check-out might be available. However, my request was declined immediately, without any apparent pause to check availability or explain the situation. I felt this came across as rather dismissive and discourteous. I later went to the reception desk to express that I did not feel the interaction reflected the level of hospitality I would normally expect. Unfortunately, the experience did not improve. In addition, I was surprised that I was not contacted prior to my arrival. From my previous experiences, I understand that it is standard practice for Accor hotels to reach out to ALL members before their stay, so I was disappointed that this did not happen. Another issue was the noise. On several nights, I experienced significant noise coming from outside or adjacent to my room. In particular, I was unable to sleep properly on both my first and last nights because of the disturbance. Overall, while the hotel's location was excellent, the quality of service and the lack of a restful stay meant that my experience fell well below the standards I have come to expect from an Accor property.
