Have stayed at Novotel Makassar before and love coming back there. The staff are so welcoming and make the start of the staycation so nice. The hotel is meticulously maintained and such a pleasure to walk into, whether the foyer, restaurant or rooms. The rooms are light, bright with a feeling of space and tastefully furnished as well as being relaxing and comfortable. The restaurant has a good selection of food with something to suit everyone and the food is well presented and tasty. The upgrade to the Junior Suite due to my Accor Plus status was lovely and as we had a few people visit for a surprise it was a delight for them to see, all who absolutely loved the hotel. A big thank you to Alicia who has greeted us every time we have checked in and is such a pleasure to meet again and be welcomed with her effervescent personailty . She is a great ambassador for the hotel and makes all guests feel valued and appreciated. Also thank you to Mesya (reception) and Anto (security) who both made our stay more enjoyable. We must also remember all of the staff such as housekeeping, kitchen etc who also contribute to the guest experience in these difficult times. We will be back soon

Simply holiday in Makassar city. Meet with my another family and cousin. And for the stay, I choose Novotel Makassar Grand Shayla. It's well located in the city. Novotel has a friendly staff. When I first come, they serve the welcome drink. It's so fresh. And I was very satisfied for the room. Very comfortable, clean, and having good view. everything is good, the costumer service is friendly, the breakfast is delicious, the children are happy with the swimming pool, the health protocol is very good, it's just that there are some towels in the room that need to be updated, got a package of sliced ​​fruit when we first arrived, unfortunately there was no welcome drink like other Novotel we've been visited. As ALL Accor Platinum’s Member I expect to get all the benefits from check in to check out. However, the room isn’t ready yet and I have to wait. They set up the minibar after I get into the room and give it to me all the stuff like soft drink, snack, candy by hand. The FO didnt give me the welcoming drink voucher and so on. That is not what I expected for. Wish I get better experience for the next stay!

spent 3 nights for celebrating my eldest son birthday alicia got us upgraded rooms went extra miles to decorate the room for birthday party and a little but meaningful birthday cake surprise the boys love it so much rooms are clean in every little detail breakfast buffet serve in all high hygiene protocol down side is the air con in the business suite not cold enough even at night and the pillow is on the hard side but it is personal preference for me , it is better if novotel can provide another type of pillow. the mattress is comfortable like always feels like 2nd home for me. thanks for all novotel staff you are all heartist. keep safe and healthy always

I have stayed here twice this month with family and would highly recommend this hotel for it's excellent staff, service, well maintained rooms and food quality. Check in was easy and all services were explained then we were escorted to our room. The room was tastefully decorated and extremely well maintained with a super comfy bed. We had access to the executive lounge were we had a light snack and breakfast. The snacks were beautifully presented and looked fresh and inviting. Breakfast had a wide range of options with both western and Indonesian foods which ensured there was something for everyones taste. Service was excellent from all of the staff making our stay more enjoyable. Security at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming every time we came in or out, always asked how our day was and if we needed any help. A special thank you to Alicia who ensured our stay was fantastic on both occasions. We will be back for sure soon

Ms Arafah and Mr Bagas is friendly staff and very helpful. The pillow in my room was a bit too hard for sleep. Maybe u can check the pillow at Melia hotel makassar. But overall novotel grand shaula was the best hotel to stay. Thank you very much for the hospitality Best regards, Randy Baan

Not planning to stay in Makassar, but have to stay overnight and automatically chose Novotel Makassar. My 3rd visit there and always the hotel of priority. Overall stay was as expected, the properties are great. Don't have enough time to try the pool yet.
