Novotel Grand Shayla always be my second home whenever I visited Makassar for business trip. It is located just perfectly in the city center, with great hospitality and best services even comparing with 5-star hotel in the city. The staffs from security team to the housekeeping staff are always on their best effort to cater all the guests needs. Breakfasts are nice, with various choice of food and beverages. They also provide executive lounge at the 12th floor where we can chill and enjoying afternoon tea or early dinner services. One thing that they should improve is their gym facility. Perhaps invest more on the gym equipment to cater the need of the gym rats who need to exercise during their stay. the gym equipment now is a bit low under my expectation.

Felt satisfied with the service and facility. It's suitable for a family vacation. The hotel have dedicated playground for children, so the kids wouldn't get bored during our stay. Although it needs improvement in the air conditioning system. In our room, the air con sounds a bit harsh, and one AC in the kids' playground is broken.
