We had a Lexus golf event & as we have done in the past we stayed the night. We checked in around 6pm our paperwork couldn’t be found by staff so another was printed which took up more time. Then our key didn’t work so I had another visit to the front desk where I was given another key. We were disappointed with breakfast on Saturday morning the fruit was clearly not fresh & when I ordered two lots of poached eggs for myself and my husband we waited about 10mins & when I asked the staff I followed her to the kitchen where I heard the chef advise that she hadn’t seen the order that was written down & left on the top counter. My husband just ate his toast without eggs whereas I waited another 5 minutes until my eggs finally arrived.

The location surroundings are very peaceful and it's a good getaway. The bathroom was comfortable and clean. However, the overall room experience was average - there was no bottled water provided, no kettle to boil warm water, the air conditioning temperature was erratic. I woke up covered in sweat one night. Food served at the bistro was good, though I was disappointed that there's no change in breakfast buffet menu.

My room was up 33 stairs. Woke up at five am to take medication but the taps were dry. The tv wouldn’t turn on. I rang reception and they were so nice and changed my room. So I thank them for making the rest of my stay very enjoyable. A special mention to Bella in the restaurant. She was so nice to us. Loved the golf course. Very challenging. It’s a great location
