We booked for our honeymoon. As a gold member, I expected a lot more as you were made aware of the occasion. The room was underwhelming, tired and had no view despite advertising one. No upgrade available until the last night which we declined. No welcome or congratulatory bottle of wine .. nothing but a cardboard flyer acknowledging our wedding. Our room cost $1300 for 3 nights - no mini bar, no snacks, not even a biscuit. I would expect a lot more given the price and status of the hotel - 4 stars - I think not! The resort was over run by families with children - a Turkish church convention which we found loud and intimidating. So much for a peaceful weekend. We couldn't take advantage of the pool or the lounge areas at all. We found the food very average and no value for money so chose to dine elsewhere after 2 meals at the resort. My husband has cancer and after 3 months of chemo, the fact our room was so far from the lobby and that most of your dining and bar options were via stairs, made his stay exhausting. The manager tried to make amends after a 3rd party (friend of ours) called to complain (our complaints went nowhere), however the tone had already been set for a sad experience. The final straw was upon checking out. We were not asked how was our stay was but merely told that our account was settled. So impersonal and unprofessional. The resort should be obliged to disclose when holding an event of that magnitude (we're told it's a yearly event), as to show respect and consideration for the other guests. We won't be back, and have already shared our experience with others.

This was a large family get together and everyone was disappointed for the following reasons: -hotel rooms look like 1980 cheap Motel. For $450 a night rooms, they are disappointing -there appeared to be a large group with many screaming children, hotel did not have enough staff to deal with the amount of people -could not get breakfast due to the amount of people and some had breakfast included. This was a family reunion and spolt by this hotel. I would not ever recommend it to anyone

The hotel was clean however outdated. The staff were friendly & helpful but there wasn’t enough of them. There was a HUGE GROUP booking staying at the same time as us & they took up all the staff. They had hundreds of children with them & they completely overtook the whole hotel. At some points you couldn’t even exit or enter the hotel as they were in the way. The staff couldn’t manage the large group booking let alone any other guests. The staff tried there hardest.

Unfortunately, a rather large group of families were staying for the same amount of time as our small group of 4 adults and 2 children. The children and teens seemed to be poorly controlled by their parents and caregivers. This impacted the enjoyment of other guests
