A Functional Stay with a Few Minor Drawbacks

The location worked well for my needs. It’s not particularly close to the Old Town, but it’s conveniently within walking distance to Maya Lifestyle Shopping Centre and One Nimman, with a 7-11 around the corner and a jazz bar next door. The room was fine overall, but the bathroom layout was a bit odd. I think the toilet seal wasn’t great, as occasional odours drifted in, especially in the morning. I wasn’t in the room much aside from sleeping during my three-night stay, but it was a noticeable inconvenience. The shower was very good, well sized with strong water pressure. The air conditioning unit was on the loud side, almost like a jet engine, but it cooled the room well. Bed was extremely comfortable. Had an issue with the in-room safe, which was remedied within 10 minutes. The hotel was popular with tour groups, so breakfast times could get busy. The breakfast offered a nice variety of Thai/Asian and Western options. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall, this place is great value for money, and I’d be happy to stay here again.

Well located but staff is not professional

Hotel Staffs On November 10th, we arrived at the hotel at approximately 9:30 a.m. before check-in time and left our luggage with the staff. and returned to the hotel at approximately 11.30 while waiting for check-in There were other customers who had checked out to pick up the luggage they left behind. and informed the staff that One more bag was missing, so the hotel staff took my luggage from that customer. And that customer put his bag in the van that was about to leave. When I saw it, I immediately informed the staff that That's my bag. Why give it to other customers? The employee went to return the bag to me. and ready to apologize But the luggage storage employee was not eager to quickly solve the problem and did not sincerely apologize. I would like the hotel to improve the luggage storage, such as having a deposit card, etc., and develop the hotel staff to be professional in dealing with it. Answer customer questions including solving various problems Room There are still many areas in the room that are not cleaned properly, such as in the bathroom having water stains. Water faucet area The sink still has dirt stains. The bathroom and toilet doors are too close together. Makes it difficult to get in and out I always choose to stay at Accor hotels because I am impressed with their service. I would like to use suggestions for improvement and development. Good in Some Areas, Improvements Could be Made in Others

Nice location to the north west of the city, handy for the nearby university and the mountainside temples. Lots of little eateries nearby catering to vegetarians and westerners. The staff at the hotel were all friendly and helpful. I was upgraded to a suite room without request on account of my Gold status. I asked in advance for an iron and ironing board in my room, and they were there waiting for me on my arrival. Thank you! On the downside, unfortunately the suite room was facing the main road and near the traffic junction – and there was not sufficient noise insulation. The air conditioning unit was also a bit noisy. After a bad first night in the room, the staff were helpful in moving me to an alternative room a bit further away from the road. The new room was much better and felt cosier. I much preferred my time in the new room and the length of the desk was helpful for working from. The staff paid good attention to keeping the room clean. For the welcome drink, I tried to use the voucher at the jazz bar but I was told I could only have soft drinks and fruit juice - not even a mocktail. I thought this was uninspiring and so did not use the voucher. For the breakfast I also gave up on this. As a vegetarian the cooked options were plain rice, rice with egg, noodles with egg, bread and fruits. I am always cautious of taking cut fruit if it is uncovered for long periods. I would hope some attention to covering the fruit can be looked into. I tried the vegetarian noodles on the first morning and it tasted of shrimp. I couldn’t eat it. I lost confidence in the options and just had plain rice and occasionally toasted bread with jam. Not the greatest breakfasts. Towards the end of the week, I skipped the food and just had a cup of tea and by the weekend I used an external restaurant instead. A bit of a shame really. I don’t like to complain though because I think the hotel offers a competitive price and the staff were all friendly and recognition as a Gold member was good. Just that it’s not quite implemented all that well in practice when there is a variety of international customers. So I think I would stay here again, but more for leisure and I’d look for a non-suite room.

Good value for money

Location is decent. Price is cheap. Staff is very helpful. For the price you can't complain but some of the furniture washroom fixtures and linen could use a makeover. I was given some linen which had blood stains.

I was upgreded to a larger room though but the lights were too less in the room and above all the warm water wasnt working there was only cold water in the room which I already told the front desk.
