My arrival experience was pleasant and my room was allocated promptly. As a Platinum member, I have consistently received a welcome fruit / goodies tray during my previous stays at this property. On this occasion, however, the tray was not provided. Later that evening, I spoke with the Front Desk to check whether there had been any change in policy. The team apologized and mentioned that the amenity had been inadvertently overlooked. As I was heading out, they requested permission to place it in my room during my absence, to which I agreed. When I returned later that evening, the tray had still not been delivered. Given my earlier conversation with the Front Desk, this was somewhat surprising. I subsequently contacted Guest Services and after multiple attempts to reach someone, spoke with a team member who apologized and assured me that the matter would be taken care of. Unfortunately, the amenity was still not delivered. To be clear, my concern is not about the tray itself. Rather, it is about commitments being made and subsequently not being fulfilled. This is not the level of service consistency I have experienced during my previous stays at this property. I am sharing this feedback purely for internal review and training purposes, as I believe it highlights an opportunity to improve communication, follow-through, and guest service delivery.

The entire process was quick, efficient, and made me feel genuinely valued as a loyal guest. I would also like to sincerely thank ESHA from Food Exchange for going above and beyond. She happily arranged a customized fresh juice that wasn’t even part of the breakfast buffet and also made sure I had buttermilk whenever I requested it. It’s these thoughtful gestures that truly make a difference. I had a pleasant stay at Novotel overall. The staff were courteous and helpful, and the service was good. However, the room size was quite small and smaller than I expected, which was a little disappointing. Apart from that, I enjoyed my stay and appreciated the hospitality.

The Novotel Hotel and its staff are excellent. Unfortunately we did not know that we would get ripped off at the Honk Asian Restaurant which is on their premises. We literally had two small bowls of shrimp soup and a1 shrimp teriyaki rice dish and ended up paying $80 CAD. Total rip off. In Canada, we would pay $25 CAD for something similar. I should have known better when I walked in and the restaurant was empty.
