We stayed here for 4 nights before our catamaran charter. We picked the area due to it's relatively central location, and the Novotel for the pool units and proximity to the beach. Added bonus that it's at the end of the beach so you don't have as much foot traffic going by. We obtained some sort of GI sickness while there, on our last night (unrelated to the hotel/food). We called the front desk to ask for a doctor and they promptly called one for us who took care of us in the room. The next morning, since we'd been up all night and were supposed to check out, we asked for a late check out and they gave us a very generous check out time. They also called us late morning to ask if they could bring us anything from the breakfast buffet since they knew we weren't coming down. This thoughtfulness was the main driver for this review. Great pool and rooftop. Only ate the breakfast buffet but everything was wonderful. Concierge was helpful with our questions and with getting us a van when we asked. Only critique on the rooms - the bathroom lighting was very dim and I couldn't plug the blowdryer in anywhere where I could also see a mirror. First world problems. Honestly it was so hot outside that hair and makeup were a waste of time anyway. Bed/pillows were comfortable, robes and slippers were appreciated and loved that we could get resupply of items with the app. Thank you, Novotel Kamala Beach, for a great experience!

Great hospitality from the beginning to the end of my stay! Everyone was amazing from Santiya and everyone in reception to all the F&B employees and HSK. Will definitely come back with more people then as I came this time as a solo traveller. This hotel is magical and heavenly, beautiful scenery, food and facilities. Thank you for everything.

Loved everything about the stay. My only minor complaint is that the new configuration rooms must have a desk. I changed rooms mid stay and the new room didn’t have a desk. Staff bought something that is kind of like a desk when requested, but the room really needs a full size desk. This is more true than ever given the number of people who can work from anywhere.

As an Accor member I was given a below par room. It was as far away from the Hotel Lobby as could be with a view of another building from the balcony. The reason I had booked is that I assumed as a Silver member I would get a good room so this was very disappointing. Also, service at the downstairs pool bar was non existent so we went to the hotel next door and there was no space by the pool to sit. I appreciate the hotel was busy but given you asked for feedback. In contrast the next hotel we checked into (Also Accor) we were immediately upgraded and the experience was way better, albeit bigger hotel on a different beach in Phuket.
