What is a bit odd for Novotel is that one can be on the 3rd floor (from ground level) without any lift.

However, please accept my most sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused by the lack of an elevator to your room on the 3rd floor. We fully understand how this could feel unexpected for a Novotel experience. Please allow me to clarify that due to the unique hillside architecture and our commitment to preserving the natural landscape of Kamala Beach, some of our wings were designed with a low-rise walk-up structure. However, we take your comfort very seriously. For future visits, please do not hesitate to inform us of your preference, and we will prioritize assigning a room in a wing with full elevator access or on a lower floor to ensure a more seamless experience. The location is fantastic and the rooms were spacious. Top was the most welcoming and friendly member of staff. Perhaps the hotel was understaffed at the time, but the welcome and departure were underwhelming. The balcony of our room was fantastic, although we could smell cannabis smoke most of the afternoon. Rooms overlooking the garden also looked over the smoking area. We loved the breakfast and the coffee was great. The bed was old and uncomfortable. It was not a King bed as advertised, but two singles pushed together. The restaurant managed to cater for very specific dietary requirements, and this made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel during our vacation, and we had a wonderful experience. The location was perfect for us. It was situated at one end of the beach, which made it feel peaceful and slightly secluded, yet everything was still within comfortable walking distance. The hotel’s restaurant truly stood out. We tried many different restaurants in Kamala, but the hotel restaurant was by far the best in terms of both presentation and taste. Every dish we had was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The staff were, without exception, very friendly and welcoming. Everyone greeted us warmly and made us feel appreciated throughout our stay. A special mention goes to the restaurant manager, Top, who was exceptionally friendly, highly service-minded, and always helpful. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would happily recommend this hotel to others.
