Good location close to old town and able to get taxi easily to other areas. Breakfast/bar area was small and often need to wait for tables in the morning, but food selection was good. Rooms are bright and have excellent bathrooms. However, beds are very hard, we were unable to use the sofa bed due to how hard it was and had three people in the main bed which wasn’t much softer.

We stayed at the Novotel Suites in Málaga. The hotel is in a great location, very close to the airport shuttle stop as well as the city center. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, yet close to all the attractions. The hotel staff, especially the reception team, were excellent. What I didn’t like was the room cleaning. The towels that were left on the floor weren’t replaced. We didn’t have breakfast because, by Spanish standards, it’s simply too expensive (18 euros); instead, there are many small bars nearby where you can go to small bars nearby, where you can eat much more cheaply. Overall, it’s a good hotel with spacious rooms, but given the price and the very expensive breakfasts, you might want to consider staying at the ibis Hotel, which is about 150 meters away.
