On April 28th 2024, I reserved a room at Ibis Malaga Centro Ciudad, for November 20th 2024, for (3) Nights. Thinking, that Ibis would not take my payment, but rather guarantee the reservation. They took the Full Payment $406.22 USD. A full 7 months advanced payment guarantee. If I had seen the small print, that it was not refundable, I would have never given my credit card, I acted in good faith, Ibis Malaga Centro Ciudad, has not. Now, due to a possible Medical Surgery on both of my feet, I requested a cancellation with a Full Refund. To my surprise, I received a Response that they would not be refunding my money. ( So if I am unable to go, on November 20th. A full (4) Months from today, I am out $406.22 ) BUYER BEWARE do not pay until you get closer to your arrival date, with the Anti-Tourist Demonstration, and animosity, ( Tourist Go Home ) all over Spain, May be a bad choice to spend your Vacation.

Basic Ibis hotel in very good location on river very near to old town. Arriving by car very difficult as there's no dedicated parking for unloading or taxis. Had difficulties when arriving in a rental car and later a taxi couldn't find his way to the hotel. Rooms basic but clean. Décor not to my taste. Check-in and check-out trouble free.
