The hotel is in a prime location and offers a great breakfast. The bed linens were stained and the overall finishing of the room is in need of upgrades. The chrome was coming off of the fixtures, the bidet was not cleaned properly, the shower door did not close properly, for example. The hotel keys are especially frustrating. They frequently don't work and you need to go back to the lobby to get them re-scanned.

WE CHECKED IN AND LEFT 4 BAGS ON A TROLLEY NEXT TO THE RECEPTION AND ASKED RECEPTIONIST TO HAVE THE BAGS DELIVERED TO OUR ROOM URGENTLY (SINCE WE HAD A DINNER APPOINTMENT AND NEEDED TO FRESHEN UP). THIS WAS CONFIRMED. AFTER 15 MINUTES, THE BAGS STILL DID NOT REACH OUR ROOM , SO I WENT DOWN TO PICK UP THE TROLLEY MYSELF. THERE WAS NO ROOM UPGRADE , DESPITE BEING A PLATINUM MEMBER. THE STAFF AT THE PARIS RESTAURANT DID NOT ACCEPT THE DIGITAL VOUCHER FOR THE WELCOME DRINKS. SO I HAD TO GO TO THE RECEPTION AND ASK FOR A HANDWRITTEN VOUCHER. THE WELCOME DRINK WAS LIMITED TO BEER , SOFTDRINKS, TEA OR COFFEE . (NO WINES). THE ROOM-KEY ALLOWED ACCESS TO ALL GUESTROOM FLOORS , NOT ONLY OURS (SECURITY !!)
