For someone that enjoys the proximity to the city centre & central locations, this property certainly checks the box.. and next to staff courtesy, everything good stops short (and this coming from an Accor ALL member!) Despite being put up in a so-called 'superior' category room (view from room in pic attached), the amenities were anything but.. toiletries/basics were skim (no moisturizer even), room slippers only provided in 'higher' room categories, no iron/board in room for safety reasons (although I've seen this provision in other properties as well, so not too surprised) and housekeeping was non-existent at times, when on 1-2 days, room was not even cleaned or replenished, with 0 effort to even try otherwise. For a similar (or lower) price, you're probably better off choosing Ramada next door, which offers a similar room, but with all of the amenities missing at Mercure, including much better breakfast offering :)

It was our second time at this hotel. The first time I booked a simple triple room and they made us an upgrade to a big gorgeous room, with private sauna. Because they gave us that upgrade then, this time I took my parents also and booked two junior suite with private sauna rooms , trust me, it worths every penny :) With this room you have access to a private lounge where you can have salt&sweet and drinks all day. It s a beautiful hotel located in the heart of the city. And downstairs there is an italian restaurant with delicious food!

we had a lovely stay here. Room was clean, we were upgraded, the room was big. The hotel did their best to accommodate our requests. Only down fall is the room was so hot and we could not reduce the temperature, even with the aircon off and the window open. It made nighttime a little uncomfortable, but did not ruin our stay.
