Good Evening, My name is Wessam F. Al Dweik, and I am submitting this formal complaint regarding my stay at Novotel Al Barsha. On 12 July, I checked into the hotel for a two-night stay. During my stay, I encountered several issues in my room. The most serious was that none of the wall power outlets were working, which meant I was unable to charge my mobile phone. At approximately 10:00 PM, I called the reception. A female receptionist answered and informed me that a maintenance technician would come to my room immediately to fix the problem. After waiting 30 minutes, no one arrived. I called the reception again, and the same receptionist claimed that the maintenance technician was on the way. I waited another 30 minutes, but again, no one came. I called the reception for the third time and explained that I was in a hurry because I wanted to sleep. The receptionist then claimed that a hotel staff member had been sent with the key to another room so that I could change rooms. I waited another 30 minutes, but once again, nobody arrived. I called the reception for the fourth time and requested an immediate room change. The receptionist again stated that a staff member was on the way with a new room key. I waited another 30 minutes, but still, no one came. At that point, I packed my belongings and went down to the reception myself. When I arrived, I found the receptionist with no guests waiting, so she was not busy. I asked her why she had ignored my repeated requests and why she kept giving me false information. She had no explanation and simply asked her colleague to issue me a key to another room, which he did. I stayed in the new room for the remaining two nights and then checked out. After this experience, I moved to another hotel because I no longer wished to stay at Novotel Al Barsha. What disappointed me the most was that the receptionist never apologized for the repeated delays, the misleading information she provided, or the inconvenience she caused. Instead, she simply ignored the situation. Because of this extremely poor experience and the lack of professionalism in handling my complaint, I will not stay at this hotel again.

As usual, the apartment is very spacious, that is the most advantage we've been experiencing and the design of it is good. However, the noise isolation is a serious concern, especially with those apartments as 01 series and probably others as I explained to the team. Only the 00 series are less affected because of their location. Yet, we hear many noisy sounds I heard. the team was kind enough to assign one of those to me but in the second day of my stay. The equipment in the apartment needs serious maintenance. TVs, Remotes, Washing Machines, basins ... etc. I spent many times either calling someone, or waiting for someone. They help, but these things must be ready for the client.
