It might seem a small thing, but not having power sockets next to the bed is really inconvenient. I also appreciate the hotel was being renovated, but having towels with holes in them in the bathroom was a bit much.

The pillow was soft and lacked support, making it uncomfortable. While we understand the hotel’s sustainability efforts, basic necessities such as a toothbrush and drinking water should at least be provided on the first night, rather than having to request them. The separation of the toilet and shower was also inconvenient. The breakfast spread, however, was excellent and enjoyable.

We stay here 2-4 times a year, and always a great welcome from all the staff. Good to see the room refurbishment has started, as the carpets in the rooms are looking a little tired. Great nights sleep as always, and the pool is the icing on the cake.
